A cargo de: Fernando Teixera e Cristina Anjos O cabeceo ou convite A tradição diz que, numa milonga, o acto de convidar para dançar inicia-se à distância. As pessoas olham-se e com um ligeiro movimento da cabeça o homem convida a mulher. A senhora não deve ir ao encontro do homem. Este hábito mantém-se desde os anos 30 em que as mulheres iam aos bailes acompanhadas pela mãe. Na altura os homens convidavam as senhoras à distância. Este hábito também se manteve para evitar uma recusa explícita a um convite. Muitas senhoras dissimulam o convite e dispersam o seu olhar pelo salão. O homem é que se dirige à mulher, onde esta está sentada e a mulher deve acompanhar esse percurso com o seu olhar. Só quando o homem está à sua frente e por fim tem a certeza que é para ela é que a mulher se levanta! E depois o homem dirige-se à pista e tenta entrar na ronda já formada e a mulher entra então a seguir, quando o homem criou condições para que ambos entrem na ronda sem perturbar o fluxo da pista. Desta maneira, o código torna-se cómodo e pouco comprometedor. É tambem um código da milonga que o homem acompanhe a mulher ao seu lugar ao terminar a tanda Não importa se estamos em Buenos Aires ou noutro local qualquer… estes codigos fazem-nos sentir mais a essência do tango.
