he pulls a face like he's really trying to figure her out. narrows his eyes and folds his lips tightly for a second. “closed fist and bang? like a real punch?” chris mimics the act of punching as demonstration, “where? jaw?” he's confused, if not slightly amused. as his friend, chris agrees with her course of action. but she's pretty hard to get much conversation out of, let alone a punch. “show me what you did,” he's grinning, “c'mon rocky.” chris hums the theme tune.

my experience in the roleplaying community.
🎾 what type of genre of roleplay i prefer to write. love angst, love drama. obviously music based characters are a big thing for me, as i'm sure we all know by now. comedy isn't my strongest area but i do dabble in a bit of black humor from time to time. love horror most of all, that's my first love.
🍷 a character i want to write but never made a blog for. so many characters. a lot of ocs i have in my head that have never seen the light of day outside of my scripts. i don't really do canons but if i were to: bobby briggs from twin peaks, cameron howe from halt and catch fire, merricat blackwood from we have always lived in the castle (actually i did write her very briefly but no one knew how to interact and i didn't either).
🌸 the blog/s that most inspires me. i have to mention my two best friends on here, eve (@thieved) and river (@inrovina). they both have some of the most beautifully detailed universes i have ever had the privilege of reading. my very good friend asher (@rcjoice) who is incredible at writing very flawed and complicated characters while also giving them so much humanity. but also you, lee (@bundledmisery)! and sam (@trainedmutt), of course, i count you both as a package deal; i'm so inspired by the dynamic the two of you have created together, endlessly engaged and invested in the gabedee relationship's highs and lows. there are so many people i want to include but i really do not want to ramble too much, so i might make a separate post for this later. (edit: here's some more.)
🖼 my favorite types of characters. always always always a huge fan of characters who are flawed and messy and make terrible choices. characters who do things that are morally grey or maybe not good at all, but seeing how the writer describes their motivations (without justifying them) always scratches an itch in my brain. characters who you should not like at all but just do, for whatever reason it may be. love that.
