i find it frustrating how aro/ace people are either acknowledged that they can date/have sex or completely shoved to the side depending on whether or not the argument suits allo people, and it will continue to frustrate me how often i get silenced by allo people when i try to have this discussion.
theres a canonically aro/ace character but you really wanna ship them? well... aro/ace people can still have sex/date! sex/romance favorable aro/ace's exist! i'm just creating representation for them!

its so fucking annoying. especially when allo people will often use sex/romance favorable aro/ace people as a crutch to hide their bigotry a lot of the time, while also constantly suppressing and silencing their identities in any discussion because they view it as "less valid."
i'm annoyed that my identity as a romance favorable aromantic is constantly being belittled, talked down to, spoken over, etc. while also being upheld as the "gold standard" of aromanticism, especially in fandom.
