I've just started college and I'm taking a module on bees and beekeeping (for funsies) and even though I have done my own research of them in the past, it still blows my mind how cool they are, despite being so integrated into the public's eye. Anyway, this lovely lady was thirsty. Sipping from a puddle on a leaf. :)

Gosh these ladies are so simple but so pretty. They can get pretty big and those ones always make me look at them in awe.

Female Canestrini's Harvestman (Opilio canestrinii), Ireland
One of the most underrated insects in my opinion. Barklice are tiny lil guys that many MANY people overlook, even entomologists. But, most are surprisingly easy to identify once you have the equipment, (in UK and Ireland at least) as their wing venation and wing colours are the primary way of classifying them. In fact, I have identified maybe 10 species from my tiny TINY garden over the last year or so. So yeah, say hi to these lil guys if you see them. They love to hang around on the underside of leaves.
