Though I haven't played much pauper, I love brewing pauper decks. I made a fun burn deck which Scryfall puts at a cost of $17 usd, though it's probably not competitively viable.

The game plan is using quicksilver dagger on a pinger to make your non creature spells cantrip and deal damage. We then want to hit a Flame Jab and an Inner Fire to truly go ballistic. Cast the Inner Fire and then use the mana to cast Flame Jab, draw and then repeat until you hit another Inner Fire and so on.
Quicksilver Dagger is our main draw enabler, when played onto a pinger casting a spell will draw you cards and deal damage. Ocular Halo is our backup (and much worse) Quicksilver Dagger.
Apart from our enablers we have a Prophetic Ravings to help piggy back off of the pingers, also the haste is nice, and finally we have a Stormshriek Feral // Flush Out, it happened a lot while gold fishing where there's a turn 1 Blisterspit Gremlin and then a turn 2 Flush Out that gets me something I need to get the turn 3 Quicksilver Dagger.
There are 3 unique pingers total, Blisterspit Gremlin, Kindlespark Duo and Thermo-Alchemist.
Blisterspit Gremlin is a godsend because it allows us to play quicksilver dagger on curve but unlike Thermo-Alchemist it untaps on enchantment and artifact casts.
In terms of the spells you'll actually be casting, its mainly flame jab. Its retrace ability means lands can also be used to cast Flame Jab. We also have Deem Inferior for a more widespread removal option, it'll basically only ever cost a blue because of how many cards we're drawing. And we're running a Mana Leak as our counterspell because 3 generic extra is basically a full Counterspell with this decks pace, its cheap money wise and a generic and a blue fits well with the mana base. In terms of grave hate, Tormod's Crypt will not only exile the graveyard but also trigger the cantrippers on cast.
This deck has no ramp beyond the ritual Inner Fire. Inner Fire was picked as a red for each card in hand is a lot of red especially if you get two of the cantrippers setup. (Also because it's the only cheap ritual.) If your lucky, playing an Inner Fire turn 4 can give you enough mana to cantrip into another Inner Fire and then Another. Basically it makes turn 4 wins possible and turn 6 wins almost trivial. (Keep in mind this is based of gold fishing and not actual games.) It's important to note that you can get the draw from casting Inner Fire before it resolves and adds red equal to the cards in hand.
The mana base is heavily skewed towards red so we can easily cast a bunch of Flame Jabs. In terms of split lands, we're using Peculiar Lighthouse because it can come down untapped and Eroded Canyon because it deals damage.
What happens when we remove the budget? Well get your proxy printers ready because this deck can be improved by adding 4 lotus petals (replacing lands most likely) and 4 Rite of Flames (replacing Inner Fire). They both cause cantrips and allow for setting up the engine turn 2.
Rite of Flames ultimately nets less mana than Inner Fire but it's speed far out ways the drawbacks.
