Intro - Requiem from Gensokyo

Near Milan, not far from Lake Como. Near a large house, there stands a small two-floor hut, with a coop full of small eggs every day. It seems like heaven; it’s just where the Shrine is located. Not far from Lake Como, near Milan. Smog, pollution, and poultry. Here, in the middle of the night, under a full eclipse, in a full-plaid pajama, stalks our nice Reimu. Near her, our childish Marisa. Gonna catch some late-night snack, with onions and some parmesan.

Our story is a strange one, lacking any kind of intro. You may seem to be happy seeing them smiling in the hut, while Alice sleeps near her dolls, and Cirno is smoking fat blunts, laughing and recycling jokes. Four women, in Brianza region, all in their kind of weird late-night mood.

--- Marisa is unemployed and tends the house — more likely she just shares jokes live on TikTok, tryin’a make it big. Reimu goes to university and prays every morning that the bills are gonna pay for themselves. Alice is a stay-at-home Vinted-olic selling childish books and homemade dolls. Cirno just scams people online using fake nudes and her nice voice, only to smoke more fat blunts.

Gensokyo rejected them, or, as they say, they are reborn in this world just to suffer: just trying to be on time for the bus, for the train, and for work, while chickens shit eggs in a polluted puddle. Marisa and Reimu were friends beforehand. Alice joined the house tryna find a cheap room, and Cirno… she just appeared during a party and never left. She was never intended to be invited or whatever. She just came and started acting like that house was hers.

Then one day. Reimu opens the door — finds it kinda warm. Then a smell. Chicken. Full rotisserie chicken. Something good, smoking really good, she chants while flying to the source. And then she realizes the coop door is open. A chicken is missing. Rossetta, her name. Thoughts jumping strange. My oven is hot. A rotisserie chicken smell. Rossetta missing. Someone stole and cooked Rossetta in that house.
