17. Do they like to take photos? What do they like to take photos of? Selfies? What do they do with their photos?
Earlier on Knockout did indeed take photos of his adventures with Breakdown here and there together. Mainly Selfies. But before that, before the war during his time as a Servant cast it was an honor only befitting nobles. This makes it even more a reason why he could have enjoyed it later as a free mech. He took particular pleasure in the small things that would have been forbidden to him before such as for example a flashy paintjob. He did take hologram photos more for memories sake, but of course also for vanity. He would often try out different paint jobs and so wish to remember each of his past looks. He kept a diary so its very possible he included snap shots of them and places he and Breakdown went documented within it. Knockout mostly enjoyed taking photos of himself and Breakdown when they visited interesting planets or survived a near catastrophic event. Together they would review the photos in peaceful moments and revel in their victories. At a certain point however the holographic photo projector that took these snapshots was damaged. So the activity became less prominent in their lives. Most of the early journals they had made were later on lost, becoming broken or forgotten in the heat of battles. They were often forced to abandon everything they worked towards to start anew. But Knockout still held onto the few photos he could. with a war waging and survival becoming more and more a priority activities such as stopping for a selfie became less prioritized. Still in personal moments he finds himself pulling out his remaining data pad to read through it and reminisce the pleasant moments of their past together. He keeps a particularly good holo projection card of Breakdown and him together within his personal compartments at all times.
He never lets it out of his sight.
ONE OF THE SYMPTOMS OF AN APPROACHING NERVOUS BREAKDOWN IS THE BELIEF THAT ONE’S WORK IS TERRIBLY IMPORTANT.
