favorite thing about them: Ask me to pick one. His design, his growling, his hot-headed bravado. XD He occupies the earnest, impulsive youngster role that Lion-O grew out of. You get the feeling that he badly wants to prove himself to the other Thundercats, and I find it very endearing.

least favorite thing about them: When he's drawn as a palette-swap of Tygra.

favorite line: "Run! I'll hold these two off!" Whilst outnumbered two-to-one (with more coming). On unfamiliar terrain. With his hands tied behind his back. Oh, bb. You're so brave and loyal. Not always the most realistic about your odds, but so brave.

brOTP: I like it when he's paired with Lion-O, as his impulsiveness tends to highlight Lion-O's growth since the start of the series. Wilykit's another Thundercat I like him teamed-up with, as he seems to make a pretty good big brother.

OTP: Generally positive feelings on pairing Bengali with most of the other canon Thundercats, tbh. Bengali/Pumyra? Probably had a beautiful, angsty romance on the atoll. Bengali/Lion-O? Kindred adventurous spirits. With Tygra, Panthro, or Cheetara? Experienced older hands to a willing, good-hearted, but rough-edged young lover. Lots of potentially interesting dynamics. But my big 'ship with him is with my gf's OC, Sabba.

nOTP: Any of the villainous characters. Just don't see any form of Enemies To Lovers working for this guy.

random headcanon: Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O are all from the same small town. They were late for their evacuation ship because Pumyra was assisting healers at a nearby temple with moving the injured, and they wouldn't go without her. The delay saved their lives.

unpopular opinion: I feel like having Bengali as a favorite Thundercat is something of an unpopular opinion. XD

song i associate with them: Blacksmith, Blacksmith by The Bardic Hearth. A bit obvious, but ah well. This one was also in the running, but don't think he's quite that tempered yet.

favorite picture of them: This one from the UK comics. Is it badly off-model? Yes. Is it Bengali on a unicorn? Also yes. And that makes up for many sins.

Kung Jin

favorite thing about them: Martial badass disaster gay! Such competence porn! Supereme ass-kicker and master thief! But also - complete trashfire! Could not stop stepping on his own dick if you paid him! But also, his arc. Being able to get over his own insecurities and bitterness to work with his new team.

least favorite thing about them: That we haven't seen him in ten years.

favorite line: Kung Jin: How ya doin', Kotal? Kotal Kahn: I could not be angrier. Kung Jin: I'll bet you could…

Jin, please stop antagonizing the local tyrants.

brOTP: Takeda. They make a good ranged team when it comes to fighting, and they balance each other out personality-wise.

OTP: Jacqui/Takeda/Jin. Between the three of them, they manage an almost-functional balance of field competence and emotional intelligence.

nOTP: Kung Jin/Erron Black. I like Erron Black (or at least, I liked him in Mortal Kombat X, when he was a messed up, quasi-zombie cowboy), but I don't like him with Jin. I don't see the complete lack of ethics working out well.

random headcanon: Jin only left SF for the White Lotus to keep a very concerned eye on Dark Raiden.

unpopular opinion: The Kombat Kids are fun and NRS were cowards to hit the reset button in MK11.

favorite thing about them: His absolute refusal to give in to despair, even in the face of insurmountable odds. Even at his lowest point, the point where he should have broken, a lifeline tethered to the slimmest chance of success got him on his feet again.

least favorite thing about them: The fact that his death amounted to absolutely NOTHING.

favorite line: "That's not been my experience." when Soji says how she finds most people want to be helpful. Just the wry bitterness in the delivery reveals so much about what his life's been like the past thirty years.

brOTP: Geordi LaForge! Mentor, best bud, and all around good guy. Honorable mention to Seven-of-Nine; bet they would have been fun if they'd had any canon interactions.

OTP: Big fan of both Hugh/Elnor and Hugh/Geordi.

nOTP: Hugh/Narissa. I've only seen it once as a tag, but just the notion makes my hair stand on end.

random headcanon: Once he'd gotten through all of his dissimmilation surgeries, Hugh went through a hedonistic phase. Part of it was approached with an attitude of information gathering, but a lot of it was just trying to get as many new experiences under his belt as fast as he could. He considers it time well spent, even if it does mean a few of his exploits still come up as cautionary examples to less experienced xBs.

unpopular opinion: If both characters were going to bite it, I'd have preferred Hugh get the miraculous resurrection and Picard stayed dead.

For context, my bangla linguistic background is:

-Probably studied those Amar bangla boi books up until 6th grade?

-An A in O level Bangla (which is probably 7th grade stuff if you show our curriculum to a Bangla Medium student, but we didn't have stuff to memorise.)
