After finally being shipped they arrived pretty quick and were all in good shape but some were just tiny! I wish I could spend a little more money and get some bigger plants but...

Repotted everyone except for the cattleya and laelia, saw a video and they said they have sensitive roots and should only be repotted when they are getting new roots so I’ll wait.

I need to wipe them off and the Paph needs to get ironed out.

Heating season is upon us, and the orchids hate that dry air, so I tented the tank with some clear plastic to help keep the humidity in. I have the humidifier blowing some mist into there twice a day, but without the cover, it’s pretty much gone within an hour.

I tried having the maxillaria out of there, on the shelf nearby, and it just dehydrated to prune-like state within two weeks. So back it went.

My brassidium Pacific Paradox is in spike once again! That's the third time I'll see her bloom, and second time reblooming since I got her.

I’ve identified the oncidium that was formerly no-ID: it’s the “Pacific Paradox” oncidium-brassavola hybrid. She’s added a new pseudobulb, and I think I’m seeing the beginnings of another, or maybe it’s just a root. She’s been busy growing those, too. I hope she’ll bloom for me in a few months.

The paphiopedilum grayi is finally done with the bloom, but she wasn’t idle while blooming either, growing a whole new set of leaves.
