Orchid haul from the Orchid Exhibition!
(Gomesa Moon Shadow x Ocidium varicosum) Little Panda:
Colmanara (Cambria) Black Pearl:
Brassia Summer Dream 'Black Spider':
And this one, that unfortunatly didn't have a nametag:
Also got these:
It was beautiful! I'll post some pictures of the exhibition later.
My epidendrum decided to make sweet love to itself and produced 3 keikis. I'm proud, it's my first epidendum. Below the blooms when I bought it. I think it's epidendrum crystal valley "red star".
Here my Brassia Shelob Tolkien (it's real name, nothing I came up with) who I call Ungoliant is growing 9 new pseudobulbs.
Mini phalaenopsis rebloom for the first time on my mother's birthday. Maxillaria tenuifolia is in the frame new to her - my newest plant. I have her for around two weeks. So far it's doing well and very very thirsty.
Traditionally here is Ninquelótë (dendrobium nobile) who is in bloom continuously since April and isn't white like when I bought it. Now it's yellow with purple tips. I expect the blooms to drop soon, since it started to develop two new canes already.
I repotted half of my collection in net pots - they look better than clear ones with holes in them. Their biggest issue is the time it take to dry up. I have to water a lot, but it's also good thing, because I'm not going to overwater them and cause root rot. It's very hot summer, I'm curious how the pots will behave in winter. This year I repotted all my orchids in coco chips-bark-charcoal mix. They grow so well in coco chips and I'm curious about the charcoal, which is new medium for me.
DISCLAIMER: Do not spray water on indoor orchids. Do not spray water on outdoor orchids unless it's very hot and the water will evaporate quickly. Water sitting in crowns and new growths cause spread of infection and rot.

Such interesting flowers, they remind me of jellyfish or squids.

Does someone know the name of the last plant?
