Subject 32 was a failed attempt at creating Nuka-Cola’s mascot, Bottle, who’s sole purpose was to appear alongside Subject 58 (Vault Boy) at an undisclosed upcoming event that both Vault-Tec and the Nuka-Cola Corporation were set to collaborate late December of 2077; however, each attempt of trying to replicate the aloof, yet lovable character, more problems arose for the science team as 32 was the final attempt before the Overseer ordered a temporary pause of trying to bring life into the character until certain scientific methods were perfected.
This temporary pause would end up being permanent, as the inevitable nuclear war struck abruptly, leaving the monstrosity that was Subject 32 isolated within the unmarked vault for two centuries before encountering the newly awakened Subject 58, resulting in both experiments engaging in a highly intensive chase of life or death, with 58 managing to escape the vault and use the vault’s door to crush Subject 32, ending its suffering.
