I went back on my copy of it with Optifine (in 1.15.2) and took a bunch of photos and...wow.

Not only are the builds simply gorgeous, but it brings back so so many amazing memories. Anyone who was around for s1 and is still apart of the community today understands how important this series is to so many. Going back through it after so long made me very nostalgic.

I was 13 back then. I’m almost 19 now. I am absolutely astounded by the impact this has had on me growing up.

A silly little world with silly players and an astounding story behind it all.

I’ll post the rest of the images tomorrow for Mianite’s 6 year anniversary, but enjoy this one for now. Hope it hits you right in the feels.

regarding “the darkness” and people fighting over good vs. evil and stuff:
