Im so interested in what the culture of the aulmir cats is going to develop into. Like if this new way of life will be successful, will Scourge become a bedtime story? Or get mythologized into a spirit like some of the clans belief systems? Causing conflict makes you a "scourge" to others? Or will they still be more casual with violence due to their past and their current living situation? Maybe a branch of "warriors" for cats like fury who are more willing to fight off outsiders for the precious resources they have, but now incorporating the belief of protecting those weaker and needy in their group. I know you probably can't answer alot of this for spoilers I'm just so curious about the long term development and adaptation of this group. There's also just something very hopeful about this that makes me happy.
There is a farming strategy called "companion planting", which is where someone will raise specific pairs of plants next to each other, and the special relationships between those plants can increase output of crops up to 40% and even reduce pest problems! I suggest looking it up in more detail, it's genuinely fascinating.
