Baking along with the #greatbritishbakeoff - biscuit week! I made almond and hazelnut Florentines that I topped with semi-sweet chocolate and drizzled with caramelized white chocolate. They are a bit more rustic than the ones the contestants did because I didn’t cut them after baking but I’m pretty happy with them. Biscuit Week - Showstopper: Game Board. So here's week two, my rough around the edges scrabble board ( I really need to work on my piping and icing over all 🤦🏻‍♀️) This took FOREVER, yet still looks a mess, god damn shaky hands. The board is ginger bread and the letters are lemon shortbread with lemon icing. It's tastes pretty damn good so that's one thing.
