Bound to You and Come Fly With Me are two of my favorite fics of yours! The inherent angst of Qrow and Clover's situation/circumstances and past is so excellent. I've loved how you've slowly laid out the backstory through character moments without directly telling it all out. and in CFWM Clover being a lil bird who flits around and is sassy with Qrow makes me smile. I'm interested to see what kind of plot/scenes they'll have

Honestly, Bound to You is so much fun to write, especially since the angst isn’t fuelled by any conflict between Qrow and Clover. A lot of my other fics deal with their emotions and how they handle trusting each other, so it’s a nice change of pace to have them know where they stand with each other. I think I know mostly where I’m going with that one so it’s easy to get down to it when I have the time - it was why I had such a huge update for it last time. Fun fact, I was originally going to have the girls be younger (with Ruby around toddler age), but ended up scrapping the idea when I realized I still wanted to include the rest of Team RWBY and touch upon forced bonds through Blake’s (abusive) relationship with Adam. Another fun fact, I originally wanted to do something similar to @thequietcanadian’s Find Familiar (which is the fic that inspired this one) and have the fic be focused on Qrow being bound and learning to live with it, but obviously chose to fast forward to after they’d gotten together and tell those parts in flashbacks. I think there will be a few more chapter like the one with Summer that kind of compares how everyone is dealing with Clover’s presence and his relationship to Qrow. I definitely want him to talk with Ruby and Blake for different reasons, and I’ll definitely be throwing Tyrian into the mix and he will get what’s coming to him.
Come Fly With Me was an idea I had a while ago, metaphorically shelved, then revisited on a rainy day just to go over it and I ended up sprucing it up a little and liking the idea even more. Bird!Clover is actually a favourite of mine as well, as I’ve mentioned in another ask, hence why I went back to it in the first place. Sometimes I read my unpublished stuff for shits and giggles and sometimes something comes out of it. The original version had Ironwood being in the dark still about Salem, and I had thought about having a scene where Qrow would tell Clover, causing an argument, but I decided against it as I already have enough angst going on in other fics and I just wanted to write FG being happy (and I swear Luck is gonna be a lot of conflict with just everyone, so no thanks). Not to say there won’t be any angst in this, but it definitely won’t be from there.
