Cant tell the difference between an open door and a glass window (this sucks in Atlas because half the city is glass doors, he blames it on his depth perception when people who don’t know about The Thing ask him)
Gives people he likes (whether platonic or romantic) trinkets and/or rocks he finds
Occasionally while sleeping he will turn his bed into a life-sized blanket nest or just transform and sleep in a smaller blanket nest. Best if Clover is also in nest.
Gets into a habit of wiping dirt off of people, goes with the habit of keep himself clean. Birds are obsessive cleaners and are very vain.
Perches when angry. It’s like his version of pouting. Has been told several times to get off tables, chairs, couches because he is perching and it makes people who are unaware uncomfortable.
Not a habit but if he gets nervous/flustered enough his hair will start spouting feathers, which shed easily. He’s mostly nervous when courting Clover.
Occasionally curses in bird noises, mostly around Oscar because he baby
Domesticated as fuck so he is very much good with bird pets. Or normal pets (as long as they’re from Clover). Will deny about liking bird pets but Clover really likes to play with his hair and Qrow likes it when Clover plays with his hair.
He gets laughed at for this but he does prefer snacking on fruit and nuts. Yang will often tease him by offering him some and calling it “bird feed”

A little drabble about Qrow and Clover's life on a pirate ship.
As the tags say, I am thinking of writing in this universe again because I love the thought of Qrow and Clover in a pirate setting.
Plus Crow!Qrow is the best.
Ok so in my head, when Qrow turns into a bird it kinda looks like how it does when Ruby’s Semblance activates and she turns into a splotch, except Qrow is black instead of red because of the colours of his feathers and it’s split-second because he needs to change quickly rather than needing transport from one place to another. It kinda looks liquid-ish in the same way Venom looks liquid-ish but less wet-looking and more shadowy.
When Clover turns into a bird, it looks like a mirage. It looks like Clover was a projected image that just got turned off and on again, one moment human and bird in the next. He kinda blips in and out but you can see an overlap of you look close enough, a flicker of blue light to match his feathers. He’s there and gone but before you can register he’s gone he’s back again.
