Proprioception: being aware of one's own body and the movement that governs it (position, motion and equilibrium). A short but meaningful off-season training from fellow Active Health Community mentor, Chance Vega that this is the best time to "tune up" your machine; that is, your body after tedious races and trainings. Upon evaluation, my hips is rotating inward on the left and then the rest compensates. Mobility and range of motion may affect one's performance. With my years in corporate work, I developed lumbar lordosis and mild scoliosis (need to take another evaluation on this) but the body is smart and thus will compensate whatever it lacks. The good news is it can be cured by awareness and exercise and good thing Chance is just among the best resources to treat this. Can't wait on the next series of these sessions! You realized you shouldn't limit yourself to one body of knowledge and you keep on taking care of your body. #AHC #ActiveHealthCommunity #ExceedYourself #fitspiration #running #runfreeMNL #BeYourBetter #YourBodyYourMachine (at Fitness First Platinum RCBC)
