so i reread my favourite book while on holiday and then this happened.

Both of these are technically two cities! Ankh-Morpork is a more...traditional merging of two cities, although that's the only thing traditional about this urban monstrosity (affectionate), and Beszel and UI Quoma are two different, vibrant, and separate cities that just so happen to exist in the same physical space. Somehow. Both very beautiful, very powerful. Also both very hard to spell.
