those are very hard questions, yeah.

Honestly, for favorite characters, it's tricky, because they're ALL fantastic. I love Aang. I love Katara. I love Sokka, and Zuko, and Toph. Hell, I love Azula, albeit in different ways (for now at least).

Favorite character, though?

Probably Sokka. Definitely Sokka. He's a far cry from the dumb-best-friend trope, and I love him for it. His growth in the first book was incredible, and I can't wait to see how he keeps going. If anyone's going to bring down the Fire Nation (or, those inside of it who deserve to be brought down) it's him.

Favorite episodes so far would probably have to be Avatar Day, The Chase, andddd The Avatar State.

Avatar Day because I am a huge lover of Kyoshi, and as someone who didn't even know she'd ever be animated in this show, I was very excited. Still am, tbh. But I digress.

With The Chase, it was just. Phenomenal all around. The Zuko vs Azula vs Aang fight lives in my head RENT FREE, IT WAS SO GOOD.

The more I read about ADHD the more I think that I have it because I find a lot of the ADHD posts very relatable. Like this one too.

So here’s another one shot, inspired by this discussion with @bellatrixobsessed1 (and also partialy by @muffinlance ‘s fics) 

Don’t worry, the next chapter of ‘The Two Way Puppet String’ is coming soon and the sequel to the Pai Sho is also being worked after a surprising ammount of demand for it.

Also, like, just scolding a kid isn't effective either. They have to know WHY they are being scolded. All Ursa did was scold Azula but she never offered explanation beyond 'don't do x thing'. Which is twice as bad because Ozai praised her for these things. I'm not saying the Ursa was a terrible mom, but she certianly wasn't perfect.

I've been writing for as long as I can remember, I've always had a thing for day dreaming about my favorite characters and was so pleased to find that there were so many others who enjoyed doing the same! Avatar & LoK were the two shows that really got me into fic writing and for that, I'm very grateful.  

I actually found out about How I Became Yours since my arrival into the fandom. I actually saved this picture because I had no idea wtf it meant and then my contact from the old days explained…

And yes, of course I was confused, I didn’t get it, so when I brought it up, weeeell…

Fortunately she only sent me to the TV Tropes article about it, and I didn’t ACTUALLY USE MY OWN TWO EYES TO READ THE COMIC! So… I’m well acquainted with it, but never ever bothered reading it because no. No. I can’t scar myself to life this way. I won’t.

It’s seriously one of the lousiest things to ever happen in this fandom. Did you know it even caused a shitstorm on Deviantart because the artist kept tracing the characters from other sources? She traced a lot of the show’s screenshots, and traced Ichigo from Bleach to turn him into Mai’s random older brother :’D

Also, it caused another shitstorm when the author tried to pass it off as a Nickelodeon-sanctioned sequel and (I think) even tried to sell it. Yep. It was THAT bad.

I didn’t talk about it thinking anyone would read it xD but seeing as so many people don’t seem to know it exists, I guess it is my duty as, uh… I dunno, five-year member of the fandom (?) to remind us all of this disaster so we may NEVER make this same mistake.
