We love to think that Solstice wasn't the last time that Azriel listened to Elain, enraptured as she told him about her garden plans. 

Imagine them some time in the future, cozy in their sleep clothes, comfortable and safe together. No matter how many times Elain pulls out her journal to tell him about her new plans, Azriel melts at her enthusiasm and joy and wonder-filled voice and takes in every word like each one is a gift.

Our strong, quiet dreamer of a flower girl deserves nothing less.

do you expect them to ditch each other and go running off to someone else?

just curious since that's what some of y'all expect azriel to do when “he finds out g.yn is his mate" despite having clear feelings for elain and questioning fate for her..
