I have been trying to compose a long explanatory post about my personal philosophy regarding being an alive human being existing in the world and how most of my priorities are knowing as much as I can about reality and the way things are, so that I can have an understanding of how the world works that is as accurate as possible, which helps me feel equipped to make accurate risk assessments and I feel that accurate risk assessments are the basis for my personal like... ethics I guess? I can't articulate this rn but someday I will. I'm sure if I was into philosophy generally I could use specific terms and refer to specific theories and writings which would more firmly place this outlook, like, SOMEWHERE. but alas. it's just something I build myself in my head.
