Do you ever have those days when you feel like everyone is moving on with their lives except you? I do! In fact I'm having one right now. I'm so sick of wanting to spend time with someone & hearing they can't because they need to see their boyfriend. Oh no, you saw them yesterday? How can you spend a whole day apart! (note my cynicism) its ridiculous how people ages 18-23 think their significant other needs to be with them all the time. You're still in school & you're young, why act like a suburban married couple? I mean unless you're ready to pop out 3 little children before you're 25, maybe you should spend some time living your life. You have OTHER friends; some of them might even value the friendship you're so quick to throw away. Just because you're romantic, that doesn't mean you should abandon all of your so called friends. Aromantic people don't date, or at least not conventionally... So we actually value your friendships. Stop treating us like we're not worth your time. It hurts & you will lose us. No matter how much we care about you, if you keep ignoring us, we'll stop making time for you. Consider going to get coffee without your boyfriend/girlfriend, we may like them, but we don't always want to see them... This would be the "condescending remarks" portion of my blog" ~ Ally
