Yugioh Arc V Oc’s! Eri and Yudai, the link dimension counterparts of Yuzu and Yuya!
Looking back, it's really amazing they literally made Yoko into a former gang member a sukeban, who had an infamous reputation, and yeah, like everything in the yugiverse, violence and fighting are replaced by dueling, which should come off as ridiculous (and let's face it, sometimes it does come off like that) but I personally really loved it, and I think it works because of how it was presented.
No romantization of her past, or her motives, she didn't get into gang dueling because she wanted to play hero or to fight injustice, Yoko literally said that she used her dueling to crush her opponents and assert herself over them, just like any gangster would, sure she was trying to help a fellow gang member when she met Yusho, but the truth remains that she was sucked into the idea that she needed to play by the violent rules of that world until her own way of life put in danger those she cared about, just as Yuya was ready to plunge himself into becoming a warrior duelist even if it meant abandoning the ideals of entertainment dueling, she recognized herself into Yuya's conviction and knew she needed to nip it at the bud.
Once again, another great way Arc V uses real world parallels to deliver its messages, because some stories really try to paint sukeban as proto-feminists of some sort, but reality is that they were gangsters, just as violent, disruptive and uncaring for social causes as their male counterparts, some of them eventually had ties with the yakuza and well, I don't have to explain that one right?
A Yuya I made to go in tandem with the Yuri, if you saw it’s in other day that’s was an accidental post (also an extra Yugo)

I had SO MUCH FUN doing this :'))) I've been wanting to display the girl's cards on my shelf for a while, and this idea came to me recently! I'm really pleased with them :3 arcv is definitely the yugioh series that inspires me the most creatively, so to express it in ways like this just makes me so happy :') 🩷🩵💚💜
