If you can see other timelines now, whatβs the strangest one youβve found?
I'm not the one who is able to see throught time.
Only Chronograph Sorcerer can.
And he is the one who allows me to take a peek.
There is a reason for why my powers are centered towards "space" rather than "time"
You know that both my sorcerers can bring my dragon form to the field, rigth?
That is because both my sorcerers were able to unify me with my dragons.
What you don't know is that depending on the sorcerer that I used at the time to ascend into a monster spirit, I would gain powers related to that Sorcerer magic.
As you would imagine, just creating a being who can manipulate either time or space would require a lot of Ba, and a lot of concentration.
It almost killed me.
So I could only create one of them when I was a human. And the other one, I created it when I was a monster, after absorving the Ba of all my victims.
I choose Astrograph over Chronograph for one simple reason.
TIMETRAVEL NEVER WORKS!
I WANT TO BE ABLE TO USE MY POWERS WITHOUT ERASING MYSELF FOR THE TIMELINE!
And time would prove me rigth. Once I created Chronograph Sorcerer to be able to see into the future to guarantee my victory back in the original dimention...
Turns out, I couldn't see my own future!
Duel spirits can't use their powers to cheat on a duel. If they try, this ones get deactivated until they stop trying. The future of my plan involucrated a duel, so the rules of the duel spirits interpreted that as I should not be able to see my own future or anyone's future that could affect the result of the duel I would have. So Chronograph Powers were useless, but I was glad to give Astrograph some company at least.
Meanwhile, Astrograph Sorcerer was the perfect option. He could only show me the present, but he could show me the present of everywhere. Any plan that the humans created to destroy me that wasn't a duel, I knew it. And I could also teleport in an instance to whereever that plan was happening and pulverize them.
Why am infodumping on this?
Well, turns out that in one timeline, a version of me created a sorcerer who was neither Astrograph nor Chronograph first. It`s name was "Transmutational Sorcerer". The master of matter. I guess that version of me just thougth that to tranform into a monster, he needed someone who domain matter. Which makes sense.
And in return, his power are related to matter and transmutation.
Wich sucked for humanity...
