farfa my goat really rode his d/d/d deck to close the gap after being dead last most of the season and now is tied with MBT due to a near-constructed Majespecter deck all while Doug is getting into arguments with chat about how he's totally not throwing by picking the worst secret packs known to man and MBT is coping on glorified N/R cyberse slop.
Going 1-1-1 and losing specifically to MBT for like six weeks broke something in that man i sear, Idk what happened but he’s really closing the season off with really aggressive and powerful decks now
Rip Doug though lol. Unfortunately, poor pack choices and bad luck really sealed the deal for him this season :( MBT at least has a deck too, so I’ll give him props for that. I don’t know what Doug could pull out of his collection to handle a bunch of recurring and untargetable monsters
Genuinely, I don’t know how Farfa is gonna lose from here, he’s in such a good position rn
@emeraldhypothesis
Farfa is in a crazy good position rn, especially since no one had a good backup deck to pivot too. They’re just battling with junk rn
The Horus stuff scares me ngl. I’m not sure what he crafted out of there, but that’s just a nightmare to deal with if ever finds the Sarcophogus. Just a bunch of recurring bastards
Just read this (https://www.tumblr.com/baddyzarc/617457011128401920/67-ruins-legends-of-labyrinth-1-2-3-4a-4b?source=share), and wanted to know your hypothesis on what most likely wiped out Nasch and Merag's kingdom—not counting Nasch's army that was wiped out during his and Vector's first Shadow Game.
a) a third party invaded
b) a distant relative claimed the throne, only for a succession crisis to happen after an undetermined amount of generations (possibly involving a civil war)
c) an immediate succession crisis happened because there was no one with a legal claim to the throne
d) some combination of a and b
e) some combination of a and c
Hmm can’t say for sure tbh.
Considering Nasch didn’t die after his duel with Vector, I feel like he might’ve returned to his Kingdom and ruled until his death (which is likely since we didn’t get any ancient stories that mention how he died), where he then willingly ascended into a Barian.
As for what happened after Nasch was gone, I’m gonna assume B—that a distinct relative claimed it, or it was ruled by an unnamed but related successor. I know for a certain that the Kingdom survived tho. I’m only saying this because it managed to pass down “Shark Crest” into the future.
(This detail in the show always fucks be up ngl. Why is it there?? It doesn’t make any sense to me, but oh well)
However, we also don’t get any proper ruins of the kingdom either
Since it’s a bunch of islands, I’m gonna assume that it pulled an Atlantis and sunk into the ocean, which may hint at its fate considering the place where we find Nasch and Merag’s backstory (despite being Vector’s labyrinth and not actually their Kingdom) is underwater
All my one assumptions though. It’s hard to speculate on what happened since the show does have some fucky plot holes in it, but this is what I assumed happened.
And another Yu-Gi-Oh drawing. I really loved 5ds too and yusai and akiza where definitely my fave characters

Lionfish Takeru (and seahorse Flame)
Lionfish have venomous spines so when Takeru is around his friends, he keeps his spines flat against his back so he doesn't accidently poke anyone. This makes everyone mistake him as a weird clownfish. Ryoken finds out the hard way after he gets a couple of scrapes from a fight and promptly pukes his guts out. probably spends the next few days zoinked out of his mind
Flame is a spiny seahorse. He hitches rides around on Takeru since the ocean currents tend to knock him about. In this AU the Ignis are sea monsters.
more lore under the cut. a LOT of lore

Ok baring the divine blessings of the Winged Dragon of Ra rip Doug for real, but also is Farfa... actually good at yugioh!?!?!?!?
Doug is DEAD lmao
I think Fartfa played this season really well on a technical level ngl. Going into D/D/D and Majespector knowing he has the 3 legacy crafts means he could build a consistent strategy in the background over the weeks. I think he's the only one to realize this strategy so far and is just steamrolling everyone now lol
Doug playing a deck that won’t auto lose.
Challenge: Impossible.
Asking a man who brought mannequin cat turbo for five weeks straight and scraping a win each time to bring a good deck :(
Though, i dont think he has anything better in his collection, but man do i not like yang zing stuff HE DOES THIS EVERY SEASON
After battling Stage-4 colon cancer for over a year, iconic and influential Yugituber Alex Cimo has passed away at age 32.
I know that a lot of people on this account don’t watch this sort of yugioh content, but it’s hard to state how heavy his works and shows influenced the modern, non-anime yugioh creator space, making it as popular and topical as it is today.
It’s tragic to see him go at such an early and young age, but cancer is a demon like that.
May he rest in peace, and hope that his wife and family are doing okay
