How tall can we be in the game if we are an elf? And how tall is everyone else?
The average heights in this setting range as follows:
Human: 5'4″ - 5′10″, 163 - 178 cm
Elf: 5′11″ - 6′5″, 180 - 196 cm
Orc: 6'6″ - 7′, 198 - 213 cm
The game is written with the assumption that the MCs fall within these averages, with the human MC being the shortest of the three and the orc MC being the tallest.
That being said, heights are never explicitly stated, only mentioned relative to other characters, so you’re free to imagine things differently if you’d like. This is the just the framework I’m using when writing/picturing the scenes in my head ^^
As for the brothers, they’re both on the taller end of average, being just under 7 feet. Side by side, Ruokar is slightly taller than Magreth.
And thank you! I’m very happy you’re enjoying it so far <3

This character is a combination of 木 tree/wood and 旣/既 already. 旣 is a phonetic element, but also carries a meaning of “to be packed full.” 概 originally referred to the piece of wood which was scraped over the top of a measuring container full of grain to flatten it out. This would ensure a “full” measure. The idea of this “rough measurement” led to the more general meanings of “roughly/approximately” and “in general.”
Chapter 19, Part 2 of Approximate is now available.
