Reiner with an S/O who encourages him to seek therapy

It doesn't take a genius to see that whatever happened during his mission left him quite troubled. He is stuck between two worlds, he is both a soldier and a warrior, and it leaves him conflicted at all times.

He loves his S/O very much, but he doesn't spend much time with them, not because he can't afford to do it, but because a part of him believes he doesn't deserve it.

When the subject of therapy first comes up, his immediate response is to question if it's worth the money it would go into it. Therapy isn't common around Marley, so finding someone you trust in that field can be time consuming and expensive.

Naturally, his benefits as a honorary Marley citizen and a high ranking military officer can easely cover the expenses and let him find a therapist that is specialized in cases like his.

When all his superficial concerns are put to rest, he would bring out the reason he doesn't want to seek help in any way. He already only has a few years left of his life, and someone like him doesn't deserve to spend those remaining years content or even happy.

He caves in when he is told that it won't just give him a way to conquer his fears and insecurities, but if he can spend what he has left not as a survey Corp soldier, and not as a warrior or Maley either, he can finally be himself with someone he loves.
