Aww, anon, I wish I had the right words to say. I feel like this is one of the things holding me back from looking for a relationship (among other things). If you really do love them (and not just the idea of them or a relationship or their company or attraction) then just be sure you’re showing your love and appreciation to your partner in the best way you can, make an effort, know their love language and love them in that way. Enjoy and cherish the little moments with them; the way they look when they wake up in the morning; the way their mouth moves when you make them smile; the way they get so excited at the smallest things; how relaxed, calm, and peaceful they look cuddled up on your chest. Just remember to show them you love them.

Unfortunately, the only thing that can really get rid of someone from your mind is time and actively trying to move on by filling your time with something else–healthy coping mechanisms.

As someone who’s been cheated on all I’m going to say to this is if you’re sneaking around on your partner behind their back with someone else (as it doesn’t sound like an open relationship type situation, let alone the fact it’s their sister) then end the relationship. You don’t sound interested in stopping what you’re doing with your sister in law and it’s a shitty thing to be doing to your partner.

Yeah I definitely don’t think Highway Tune is their best. It’s more like iconic than anything cause it’s what put them out there
