What about twisted Aphrodite’s child being parented by a trickster god like Loki/Anansi or a trickster gods child?
Ohhhh, okay so this answer severely depends on which trickster god is raising the Twisted!Child of Aphrodite. This is mainly because not all trickery or trickster gods are bad nor good and can't be categorized in a black or white way either. Heck, Hermes is a trickster god and civilization doesn't perceive his trickery as malevolent.
Loki can be considered and seen as 'bad', especially after he was the one who caused Baldr's death and prevented his revival, from that point on, but he isn't inherently and wasn't always 'evil' either and his role as a trickster god has helped his fellow Norse gods and the worlds and 9 realms itself. He functions mostly as a gray moral god, as typical of gods, but more so to a darker gray morality.
I can't say for Anansi much for myself, mostly because I am not that confidentially, knowledgable in African Mythology and stories and I'm not of African descent either so my words are to be taken with a grain of salt and skepticism. From what I know of Anasi the Spider God while yes is a trickster god, he's also the associated with stories, wisdom, and knowledge (as well as a psycho-pomp as he maintains the connections between the living beings of the known world and the spirits fo the dead), and he's symbol as a god leans more benevolent (as far as I know).
With that said, all I can see if Anasi or his (demigod) child were raising the Twisted child of Aphrodite, I doubt they would suggest or encourage using their powers for lesser or selfish intents; espescially if it actively harms others. Pulling tricks onto others is fine, espescially to those who don't uphold their word and values, but never actively harmful unless they deserved it.
Anasi or his child probably would encourage the child of Aphrodite to use their alluring persona to tell and captivate others with story-telling, stories, and heeding to their voice to do good deeds or spread knowledge as Anasi is the King of Stories and a wisdom god.
Loki however, particularly if we're going off Riordan's use of Loki in "Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard", is a whole nother matter. We know Loki can manifest himself in a temporal matter away from his prison and based on his actions towards the Asgardian gods and actively either starting Ragnarok or to free himself if we're going before the events of the books, I can see Loki taking in the Twisted! Child of Aphrodite one way or another under his wing and use it to his advantage and amusement.
If we're going off that the Aphrodite Demigod having Charmspeak and using it for malevolent intentions, it functions just as much as what Loki does; who uses his words to trick others into doing malevolent deeds to his own amusement and whims; and this also applies to some of Loki's demigods who work as Loki's agent/command (especially since because it is shown that children of Loki can be commanded to do what Loki wants because they are half of him).
Whether Loki makes himself known to the Child of Aphrodite or one of his children parents them either on behalf or for the benefit of Loki, I can see how it being a reason who or why the Child of Aphrodite became twisted in such a way because it does fall in align with Loki's morals and his ream with mischief, lies, artifice (meaning: deception or trickery) and how that frames their reasoning behind their actions because if Loki and others can do it, why not them? Add in using their charisma and looks as a child of Aphrodite, then they just have more to work with.

just wanted to say that i love your writing and was hoping if you could write something in which gavi gets injured rather badly at a game, and so he was taken to the hospital, and once he woke up, he saw you sleep on a chair beside his bed uncomfortably, and so he speaks to the nurse who tells him that you've been there all night. You eventually wake up by the sound of their talking, and he invites you to his bed for cuddles.
I remember seeing this request on someone else's blog as well lmaooo. Personally, I like this topic a lot, and hope that you will too!
"MEDIC! We need a medic!"
I couldn't breathe anymore... It felt as if I just witnessed my entire world collapse right before my very eyes. My vision became blurry and I felt hot tears roll down my cheeks. All I wanted to do now was run to him, and pull him into a warm embrace, but my body won't move... What do I do?!
~3 hours later...
"I'm sure he'll be alright, Y/N..." Aurora comforts, trying to disguise her anxiety as well as I paced around. "Yes... Pablito is a strong man. He'll pull through." Pedri assures, pretty tense himself. "That's not what my fear is, Pedri." I sigh, stopping for a minute. "What if his injury is permanent?" I ask aloud what everyone else's fear was.
"Are you Señor Gavira's family?" A doctor soon approaches us with a register in hand. "Si, I am his mother..." Anasi, who was praying in a corner, stands up. "I'm his sister." Aurora informs. "How is he?" I then asks nervously, biting the inside of my cheek. "He took a hard hit to the head that knocked him unconscious." He starts.
"A very common injury seen in sportsmen." He adds. "Is he going to be okay?" Pedri asks. "Si, but it is not the head injury that worries us..." The doctor rubs the back of his neck. "During the full body check-up, one of our nurses noticed that he has cracked rib, and his ankle is sprained pretty bad." He sighs.
"I'm gonna kill those Arsenal Arseholes." I snarl under my breath. "Ay calmate, sirena." Pedri sighs, holding my already balled up fists. "When can we see him?" He questions the doc after calming me down. "The surgery already has been performed, and it was a success..." Doc says.
"But he hasn't yet woken up, and probably won't any time soon due to the anesthesia." He finishes. "Can I see him?" I request. "I'm afraid not, señorita." He frowns. "Only family is allowed, and we need to monitor him closely." He justifies. "We need to run a few more tests to make sure there is no brain injury, too!" He adds.
"She is family." Anasi insists. "We need you there with us, Y/N." Aurora smiles sadly. "I'll just wait out here then..." Pedri sighs, getting his phone out to update the team. "Keep me informed." He then tells me, and I just nod in reply as we all enter the room to see Pablo. My heart sank when I saw him like that.
So lifeless... Unconscious on the bed, the saline stand next to him, doing whatever it's purpose was. His face was bruised, and had small cuts too, that had recently been cleaned. His leg was lifted, and his ankle wrapped. He appeared to be in so much pain, yet his pounded face seemed so well-rested.
Oh Pablito... If only I could take your pain away.
"Ay mi hijo..." Anasi frowns at her son's condition, clearly in a lot of pain. "I can't bear to see him like this." She turns around, burying her head into her daughter's shoulder, tears streaming down her face. Aurora just stared blankly at her brother, comfortingly rubbing circles on sobbing mother's back.
As for me? Watching my guy suffer so much, lying helplessly on the bed... It scares me! Sure, the doc did assure us that he'd be fine. But he can't be hurt. It's not fair- He just can't. He didn't do anything to deserve it! Someone as pure and innocent... How can someone-anyone do this to him?
I just hope he knows I'm here for him. I'll always be.
~7 hours later...
"How long has she been here for?" I stir in my sleep, wiggling uncomfortably in my chair as I hear someone talk. "All night." A woman answers. "All night? Like that?!" The familiar voice from earlier questions. "We offered her an empty room with a comfortable bed... But she refused to leave without you." The same woman sighs.
Since my sleep was already ruined thanks to my aching body, and these two, extremely loud people, I reluctantly opened my eyes stretching a little. "Buenos días, mi amor..." I was greeted by the familiar morning voice of Pablo. "You're alive!" I exclaim, jumping outta the chair, and rushing over to him to hug him.
"Ow ow ow- calma, mi bonita!" Pablo chuckles and flinches as I smother him with kisses all over his face. "Don't you ever do that again!" I then scold, my face buried in the crook of his neck, hugging him. His one arm was already wrapped around me, rubbing my back as he lay on his bed.
"Do what? Get hurt?" He guesses. "Scare me like that." I whisper, not pulling away. "Aww... Come here, you." He speaks gently, and without a warning, he effortlessly pulls my body into his with the arm that was wrapped around me. He placed me right next to him, draping the blanket over us both, and kissing my cheek.
I swung my arm around his shoulder, and leg across his as I rested my head on his shoulder, staring into his beautiful brown eyes. "You have no idea how terrified I was." I whisper. "You have no idea how oddly happy hearing that just made me." He grins back, kissing my forehead. "I hate you." I roll my eyes at him.

In honour of the holiday of tricks and jokes, we're taking a look at some of our favourite mythological tricksters from around the world!
First up, we have Loki - a trickster God from Norse mythology and sworn brother to Odin All Father. Loki was known for his silver tongue, powers of persuasion and shapeshifting abilities. His most famous trick was also his cruellest - Loki tricked Baldr's blind brother, Hodr into killing him.
Second is Anasi, a spider trickster originating in West Africa. some legends state that Anasi appeared as a spider, while others gave him the appearance of a man, with spider characteristics. Anasi is known as the owner of all the world's stories. The stories originally belonged to the sky god, Nyame, however with cunning tricks, and the help of his wife Ao, Anasi managed to win them for himself.
Finally we have Coyote, an important figure in Navajo myths. As with many trickster deities from around the world, Coyote appeared in multiple forms. In some stories, he was (as his name suggests) a coyote, while in others he appeared as a moustachioed man. It is said that Coyote was responsible for the creation of the Milky Way. He grew tired of the ordered way that the stars were being placed in the heavens, and threw the remainder in to the sky in a disorganised chaos.
So, I saw a post describing how That Guy will be in charge of the mythology of season 4, and I was reminded of the fact this show is... bad with mythology.
As a huge fan of Mythology, this pisses me off to no end, so I wanted to list some examples.
The Pharaoh
This is an easy target, as the Pharaoh uses the powers of various Egyptian Gods. The problem is that certain traits are just wrong, like Horus giving the power of flight, or Thoth having the head of an iblis (he typically is a baboon). A lot of these can be seen as technically correct, however they are still wrong.
Sapotis
Short one, but all searching for for examples of Sapotis only leads to things related to the episode. I’m sure some variation of this creature exists in Creole folktales, but I’m also willing to bet they were made up for the episode.
Anansi
What motivated me to make this post. Nothing about Nora using the Anasi name while she fights (not just as an Akuma, it’s on her trunks) makes sense to me. The way it’s frames just highlights the ‘spider god’ aspects of Anansi. The issue is that this is only skin deep. Anansi is the African god of stories, and is often depicted as a trickster god. Nothing in her personality or fighting style would denote a tricky fighting approach. If anything, she’s just as bunt and straightforward as her sister, focusing on facing the opponent head on, and hitting them with tremendous force. Anansi would probably fight like Spider-Man, jumping around and trying to bait out their opponent, while using a ‘death of a thousand cuts’ style of hitting.
Its like someone calling themselves Thor because they carry a giant hammer. Technically correct, but Thor isn’t the god of hammers.
General Miraculous Lore
This is twofold, with the first being the fact that the Miraculous are (supposedly) based on Wu Xing principles. As many could tell you, such as @loosescrewslefty, this is bull, as they don’t actually do anything with the concept. If anything, it only seems to be a nice aesthetic choice, and means nothing. This also covers the Zodiac Miraculous, as they also don’t fit the mold.
The other issue is the past Miraculous holders. Now, I don’t mind it when a show expands on it’s lore like this, but issues have cropped up. Mostly in regards to certain choices made: like Sun Wukong, Herakles, Joan of Arc, and Jesus of Nazareth being past holders. First, the show is claiming that popular figures of myth have no actual powers, and are just connected to this poorly explained magical system (gross). Then there is the claim that famous real people are only like this because of magical jewelry (this is Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter all over again). But the crowning offence is that Jesus, yes THAT Jesus, didn’t have the ability to perform miracles, but instead had magic jewelry to do it for him. I’m agnostic, but even I think that’s gross.
---------
All in all, this show is terrible at representing myths and other cultures, almost at a JKR level to boot. I just wanted to rant a bit.
