Lily clears her throat

“Sakuya is going to find a surprise in exactly three days, five hours, and forty two seconds from now.”

“Last night I snuck into the three fairy’s of light tree house and replaced all of Luna’s coffee beans with jelly beans.”

Reimu had been looking all morning for the latest novel she had borrowed from Suzunaan, partially turning her living quarters upside down in her search. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. 

It was starting to drive the shrine maiden just a little up the wall. She was absolutely certain she had placed it atop her table the night prior. It couldn’t have simply walked off on its own. (Probably.) 

So here she was, standing in front of the tree the Three Fairies of Light called home, knocking on the tree’s trunk as if it were a front door. 

“Hey!" Knock, knock, "I know one of you is in there!" Knock, knock, knock, "I need to ask you something!” 

Did she know this part of some fairy prank? No, not at all. But it was as safe a bet as any when four of them had decided to live at her shrine.

While the spectre may have no weight for this bridge to contend with, the slim figure before her certainly does. Every step is near-thunderous, organic muscle and sinew replaced with something far stronger, rendering his profile uncanny even beneath his cloak, the hood presently about his shoulders, long hair loose and free. The hand gripping his staff tenses as he cants his head and considers his response, body unnaturally still. It's moments like these he's far more machine than man.

As if that weren't obvious from the start. A self-styled new god, Vitya is in absolute control of his flock. Accidents don't happen when there's not enough originality left in those husks to accomplish something so out of line with his goals.

“Okay Luna, your HP is starting to lag behind everyone else at this point in the quest, so we’re gonna go back to just outside the human village and run into another Bee Swarm cause it is too weak to do any damage to us. While it’s doing that I’m going to start beating you up over and over again so your HP will get higher, all while Crescent casts the healing spell on you over and over again to raise her skill up in so we can have extra heals while traveling up Youkai Mountain.”
