in a manner of speaking, this isn't so out of the ordinary ... finding herself in places she otherwise shouldn't, that is. the stage might shift, the scene would change, but there has been duly little that the girl has not elsewise taken in stride—she isn't scared of new things, new places, new people ... but she knows the effect she tends leave behind. strangers are wary of her ; and perhaps rightfully so, for a stray, she's no reason for her steps to come so easily, letting intuition guide her every move. the people here ought to be a bit kinder, though! it would be nice to not have to rummage through bushes and bins like a dog trying to find its way. she is terribly lost, but that doesn't bother her a bit.

Reimu wasn't sure what to expect exactly when she approached the girl. Part of her had half expected to leap right into a fight from how the villagers kept going on about her, but no bullets came whirling past the miko's head the second she touched the ground. Instead, the child seemed downright polite compared to most of the troublemakers she'd met before.

"Yup. Can do a whole lot else to." Wait that wasn't the point, "Er… Not a misstep exactly. The villagers can just be a bit jumpy around new faces…" A pause, "...How long have you been out here?"

Still, she wasn't blind to the… oddness around the girl. Her gut told her the child was nothing to worry about, at least for now, but she could certainly see why the villagers would have found her so off-putting. She had a strange air to her, not malicious exactly, but not one of typical of an Outsider at all. Most Outsiders who stumbled past the barrier acted scared, confused, or hopelessly out of it all, meanwhile this girl seemed downright relaxed. She didn't even see any curious fairies around her, or sense any hungry youkai.
