Ares is everyone’s grandpa, cause wth, why does he appear in everyone’s family tree?

Dionysus, Asclepius, Heracles, Helen, Clytemenestra, The Dioscuroi (these last ones are siblings so idk), uuuh… Menelaus & Agammemnon, Acteon ( @artemiz0npawz Aktaion mentioned, pookie), and probably ETC.

As it is with a lot of my art now, i started this 2 months ago and finished it recently lol😭 anyway meet Sapphire, her lore is that she’s one of Tony’s buddies/juniors from AEON (the company he works at). Through their dad, she becomes acquainted with Silkver and Soni, and sort of has a big sister relationship with Silkver. Also she has fire powers yay 🔥🎆

"Dinarchus the poet, being not obscure, recounting the deeds of Dionysus, [recounts] as many things as have been suffered by him, and indeed also [recounts] Actaeon and Lycurgus—how they were killed—having clearly spoken that he also was slain by Perseus and was buried beside the golden Apollo" Well, I don't think Dincharchus (of Delos) was killed by perseus, so I'm pretty sure this is the earliest source of Perseus killing Dionysus if the 5th-century mfs are correctly citing the Hellenistic period dude. Real possibility of this being a genuinely old myth and not some random shit johnnny appleseed or whatever made up.

Hector of Troy- literally just doing his job. Yeah he killed Patroclus but in his defense he was a just doing what soldiers/generals do.

Amphinomus- nicest and most polite of Penelope’s suitors. He convinced the other 107 suitors not to kill Telemachus and was told to leave by Odysseus but Athena wanted them all dead.

Medea- yeah she killed her family,children and others but it was all for a good reason and we love killer women.
