Listen I wanna meet one of these “cishets that that try to infiltrate and use LGBTQ+ resources”

and like, not people that were told they were accepted in a community only to be not.

When I first heard of the term Asexuality, I didn’t immediately go form a plan on how to infiltrate and take resources from lgbtq+ People. I wasn’t approached by some dude in a trenchcoat or by some creep on the internet and told that just because I didn’t have an interest in sex I was DEFINITELY asexual. At the time, I thought nothing of it simply because I didn’t feel like I had identified that way. I wasn’t brainwashed into thinking I was asexual. I thought about it, and decided no. End of story. 

and lets say I was sexual but still identified as asexual because I didn’t realize it. Eventually I would. I’d realize that the definition of asexuality and the feelings I felt were two different things. Just like when I realized I was polyamorous and not monogamous. Or when I realized I ID’d as pan instead of bi. It ain’t the end of the world if someone IDs as asexual/romantic when they aren’t, just like when people ID as gay/bi/ect and then change their identity. Its not as big of a problem as some of you are making it.

The radical conservatives and religious people don’t agree with us either. For them, its all about control. If a person decides they’re asexual, they can’t control them. They don’t agree with it because “all humans are sexual we just need to learn to repress it. you’re just confused.” It goes back to the confusion thing that a lot of asexual/aromantic people get. You haven’t found the right person.

And as for cishets trying to get into the community, you can literally pretend to be any LGBTQ+ identity btw. There’s literally a disgusting book that’s getting a movie adaptation about a cis guy who pretends to be a trans women to sleep with lesbians.

I don’t fucking agree with it obviously, bu I’m just saying that they wouldn’t waste their time “Creating” a “New” lgbtq+ identity just to do that IF they even wanted to do that.

Frankly, if cishets want to ruin pride and the lgbtq+ community they’ll just go and try to do it. That’s what they’ve been doing.They aren’t going to try and blend in and by a spy like in some of y’alls fantasies. Maybe a few do, but like I said, they would just “Identify” as one of the existing lgbtq+ identities and not fuck with making one up, especially now with all the controversy on tumblr about it.

I’m sick of members of the lgbtq+ community being so blind to the same rhetoric and slander that was used against other lgbtq+ people and has just been repurposed. I could understand it more at least if there weren’t Bi ace/aro people blatantly telling you that it’s literally the same rhetoric. 

Bi/ace “Passing privilege”  The incessent worry about “the kids” How teaching about gay/ace people will just make kids more confused. “Freaks” who “Approach kids” about it and “Make them gay/ace. Bi/ace people just being confused Bi/ace erasure 

I’m sure there’s other things I’ve missed but that’s the gist of it. 

Ace people try to show you how they’re systematically oppressed because y’all  say that they have to be in order to be lgbtq+ but never want to listen to it because it’s not as bad as 

The fact is that they’re not trying to be. They’re not saying they’re JUST as oppressed as trans people or gay people or whoever else in the community, they just want their problems out there. 

and even if you don’t feel like asexuals don’t belong in the community then fine, don’t go into the communities or tags they make for themselves and mock it or post ace hate. You can realize that ace people go through shit without reblogging “””Cringy ace people”””” posts and talk ab out how “”aces are ____ or ___”““ because you’re not as “tolerant” of aspec people of you do that sort of thing.
