#about frozen

After being asked about it several times and now that Frozen has become a multiverse, I think it’s time to clarify what I consider canon in the Frozenverse and not canon! :D

NB: of course this reflects my very own opinion and you have the entire right to perceive things otherwise :)

WHAT I CONSIDER CANON TO FROZEN:

(why? because it was made by the same teams than the movie)

Frozen (2013)

Frozen Fever (2015)

Olaf’s Frozen Adventure (2017)

As a ‘What If’ Official AU: Frozen the Broadway musical, both Denver version (2017) and the current Broadway final version (2018)

Frozen 2 (2019)

WHAT I CONSIDER NOT-CANON TO FROZEN:

(why? because it was not made by the same teams than the movie) (NB: that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it. eg I absolutely loved the OUAT Frozen arc.)

You mean, Anna and Elsa having a little sister? Or Anna being three years younger than Elsa, being the youngest daughter?

First option: OH GOSH, they would both be so super protective and so adorable with her!

Second option: Anna feeling left behind or ‘The Spare And Nothing Else™’ has been depicted in concept arts and songs AND I AM STILL INTERNALLY SOBBING

omg dear you went to the right person, I’m always in the mood to talk about Frozen headcanons :D (and 24/7 in the mood to talk about Elsa obviously)

first there’s this big headcanon I have about the beginning (opening scene) of Frozen 2 here

then there’s this funny one about Anna causing A FREAKING AVALANCHE which can totally happen in Frozen 2 as well

there are sad ones of course, (warning: suicide mention)…

there’s an obvious one btw which I never really talked about but which is the obvious fact that Elsa will make Anna’s wedding dress (in ice.)

there’s this OVER-ANALYSIS of the snow on Arendelle castle in the OFA trailer only like my obsessed frozen trash ass can do

my very favourite and quite simple one which is that, if Elsa wasn’t a Queen, she would definitely be an architect. Because she’s 100% the nerd fond of logic and visual structure we all saw she was that night she build a goddamn ice palace out of nothing

there’s the one where, if Frozen 2 includes battles or even war, Elsa would definitely make herself this kind of incredible armor (imagine the yellow being blue and bam you’re into it)

now little funny ones: Elsa being an obvious mess if drunk, and Anna who broke 2 thousands salad plates

and to finish, a HUGE one: my personal explanation of Elsa’s powers, their origin and all, but it only works if you consider Elsa’s “canon” birthday date and follow the AU logic of her coronation day being her birthday.

me, thinking : Queen Elsa of Arendelle literally can walk on water, conceive a gigantic ice palace in one night, and bring snow to life, yet she feels sad about who she is, blame herself for things she isn't responsible of and still has emotional issues. She has a very low self esteem whereas she's literally an actual Goddess
