Honestly, except for Yuuji & Nobara, I don't care about any other character in Modulo. And before finding out that Yuuji appears again in it, I didn't even have any desire to read this story.
I'm still not particularly excited about doing it :/

It's so funny to see people complaining about Argentina winning, cos it was so obvious lol?
They literally want them to go on final lol they wouldn't let the others win.
Personally when Egypt played against them, I had some hope. But when I saw that their goal got refused, I knew it all.
I don't really know about football myself, I'm not a fan of it at all, but I think this is kinda stupid for FIFA to glaze Messi so much.
They just wanted to make Argentina win, so they did.
Don't mind me, just rambling to myself again under the cut:
This will, in all likelihood, be the last time I ever write anything bout him because I honestly don't care anymore and I'm quickly losing interest (finally, free from the clutches his claws had on my brain!) But I just had to talk about the flabbergasting phenomenon of actual adult humans who throw actual tantrums whenever a character they don't like gets more merch. And yeah, this is, in fact, about Na*ya Z*n'in and the hordes of people on Twitter who do nothing but complain whenever he gets anything.
He gets figures? They throw a tantrum. He gets keychains? Again, another tantrum. Is he included in posters or promo/official art of any kind? Another tantrum. Does he get a funko pop? Groups of adults crying and whining about a fictional character getting merch. Like, I really don't know how to say this in a delicate way that doesn't offend anyone, but if you're an actual taxes paying adult going on Twitter or any media platform to whine, cry, rage and complain about a fictional chara getting a funko, then I think you're kinda pathetic, tbh. Like, bruh. FICTIONAL CHARACTER.
I think there's way worse things going on in the world that deserve your tears and rage. There's actual genocides and wars, massacres, and actual humans getting kidnapped and killed by ICE and put into legit concentration camps on the daily. The world and its economy are going to shit, yet you still choose to cry about an animated character getting a figurine? How privileged do you have to be for that to even register as a problem for you. If you care about women so much, then how about you help, donate, and support actual women victims of war and genocide in: Palestine, Iran, Sudan, Lebanon, or Ukraine, who get slaughtered by the hundreds, instead of hating on ACTUAL LINES ON A PAGE who has never hurt anyone.
Broh, go touch some grass. How disconnected from the world do you gotta be to do that. Do these people understand that the companies making these figures don't give two straight shits about their tears? The companies don't give a fuck if the characters they're making and producing merch for are morally good or not. They'll just check and see that 'hmm, merch of 'X' character sells well and good, and lots of people seem to buy it. Let's make more merch of 'X' character cause it brings in more money.' That's how capitalism works. Na*ya merch sells well, good, and fast, so producers will obviously be invested in making more stuff for him. They will keep making stuff for him as long as it keeps selling, no matter if there's sensitive, privileged snowflakes crying and throwing a tantrum bout it on social media.
To conclude with this, I gotta leave a warning to anyone who bothers reading this and makes it this far: don't even bother leaving me any hate comments over this cause I'll block you. If my words really offend you or you're the kind who complains bout animated drawings getting merch, then you're just a party pooper, a 'no fun allowed' cop, and I don't want your energy anywhere near my blog. Block me and move on. If you leave me a hate comment accusing me of defending a fictional character or, worse, calling me a mysoginist over this, I'll insta block you, all while thinking you in all likelihood stink way more than Na*ya does, lmaooo. Live and let live, or however the saying goes 🤷♀️💁♀️
Stolos creepy - (Alternate version of Stolas)
This is an alternative version of Stolas created for a creepypasta. When I saw it on Twitter, it really caught my attention because it has a truly unsettling design, especially her facial expression, her eyes, and her mouth.
In the post, several people said that the characters from *Helluva Boss* should look like this, since they feel this style is more authentic and better represents the idea of Hell.
Personally, I don’t share that opinion. I think a design like this might work for some characters, but not for all of them. In the case of the Goetia, for example, I feel like it would clash quite a bit with the aesthetic that Vivienne Medrano has already established in the series—that is, how we see and perceive them. And as a viewer, I’d find it very strange to see such a drastic change.
And even if we assume that all of that were just a mask worn by Stolas, for example—fine, I’ll accept that. But the appearance would still be quite unsettling.
I much prefer my bird just as it appears in the original work rather than with this look.
That said, all that’s left for me to do is congratulate the artist. The drawing is incredibly well done and achieves exactly what it sets out to do: to shock you from the very first moment you see it.
But hey, to each their own.
Artist: 0 p i l k a (Twitter)
It’s just like a pet peeve of me but I really don’t like it when the commentators don’t talk about who/what is being shown on screen.
IE Red Bull strategy when showing McLaren cars. Or Oscar when Lando is on screen.
I understand it can be fast and things change quickly but this is clearly just poor timing and it’s seemed to only have gotten worse since Canada. I hope once we get through these next two races they can get their shit together. (Or hire whoever they fired back)

Whew, TIME magazine was not all that kind to Nolan's adaptation of the Odyssey.
Some highlights:
And then we get to Lupita:
Yeah, basically what I figured would happen and why I never actively praised Nolan for casting her. Clytemnestra doesn't really appear in The Odyssey while Helen disappears after the beginning. That along with the fact that Nolan isn't really known for displaying much feminism in his work meant I didn't have high expectations. Zendaya is the only other actress playing a named character who wasn't white. And it was a curious choice that Calypso, frequently depicted with dark skin, was played by a white woman. It's almost like the people criticizing Nolan's choice to not cast any Greek people in a movie about Greek mythology had a point! (I also saw Greek sources criticizing this as well.)
It also goes hand in hand with the conspiracy theory of directors hiring marginalized actors, making a lot of noise about it, allow the actors to soak up backlash, and then do them dirty in the actual film.
Side-note: Helen and Clytemnestra aren't really twins in Greek mythology. They're half-sisters with different fathers. Them coming out of the same egg seems to be a Medieval invention. But, you know, Nolan can't be too progressive and hire a second beautiful black woman. (Also, babies coming from the same clutch or litter aren't typically considered twins and generally are not identical to each other anyway.)
Idk why I’m the one telling you this but being bullied or abused at any point in your life doesn’t magically and automatically make you a better person or even a particularly good person. Sometimes it just teaches you a really toxic mindset about social status, social hierarchies and and power dynamics that you chase to your own detriment.
Like if you got bullied for being poor, ugly or weird and you grow up to chase status symbols and become a person who makes prejudiced snap judgments about people based on appearances or labels I hate to break this to you but you grew up to be your bully. You grew up to be a mean person.
I know that is going to feel like shit but you need to hear it.
You’re not like those evil preps Dementia? Nah dog you’re cut from the same snooty cloth. Dying it black and studding it up doesn’t change the weave.
