So I can add that to the list of all of the names I have been called for standing ten toes down on what I believe. I have no issue with transgender people existing. In fact I believe the majority of transgender people don't affect my life in any way.

Yet, it has come to a point where transgender women are trying to label themselves as "real" women and are talking about having periods and giving birth. Claiming they know more about womanhood, then actual fucking biological women.

For me, this begs the question: how different can something be from G1 before it's no longer considered "just" a reboot? Most series in the Transformers franchise are "G1 reboots" in the barest bones--Autobots fighting Decepticons and end up on Earth with the Autobots fighting to protect humanity from the Decepticon war march. That's how a franchise works, see also Pokémon, X-Men, Spider-man, and Batman. However, Transformers Animated follows the G1 template fairly closely (mostly fudging characterizations and some backstory) and is considered quite divorced from G1, but the 2019 IDW series doesn't follow the G1 template much at all yet is considered a part of the G1 "continuity tree".

I remember not expecting Earthspark to be identical to G1 and even defending that it wouldn't be exactly like G1 as it was a spiritual sequel rather than a direct sequel. And then it kept going and just... Never related to G1 outside of the brief history lesson Alex gave to kids and even that is implied to not quite be the truth. Mirage doesn't even have the same ability he had in G1. Liege Maximo isn't even a G1 comic antagonist (he's G2).

It’s not just Etsy either, like every platform originally made for secondhand clothing is overrun with people selling cheap, low quality shit and resellers that sell stuff at an unreasonable markup; like those options are meant to be affordable, no wonder people continue buying at fucking Shein.

Allowing abuse to perpetuate and continue without taking actions to protect the victims and stop the abuser is passive abuse.

All because you can’t kill a man who violated and mutilated kids and adults and animals.

That’s not strength in abstinence.

That’s weakness in a fancy costume.

It’s the stance of a billionaire, who will never have to suffer the same consequences as the average person.

It’s the stance of a weak man.

And I’m tired of people calling it bravery or morality. It’s cowardice in a bat costume.

He allows abuse to continue.

Not only on the city he swore to protect, but the children he brought into his life.

He sealed Jason Todd’s fate before that kid knew Bruce Wayne at all.

As well as Barbara and Jim Gordon, Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown, Harleen Quinzel, Sheila Haywood, Thomas Elliot, Sarah Essen, and every single other victim of the Joker.

Because he couldn’t suck it up and decide to break his rule for a man who he knows will not stop, get help, or be contained.

Batman allowed that to happen.

He let children into the line of fire. And he still chose to sacrifice the innocent to protect the guilty.

That is not heroism, or even anti-heroism. It’s not some code, or moral backbone.

Its weakness. It’s failure to protect, and it’s irresponsible.
