#issy makes something#pittsburgh penguins#nhl#aanya#i started this. before the playoffs. it started as a don't call it a comeback one pager magazine cover thing#but then i didn't finish it in time and then they lost and lost and lost and then it felt like bad luck to finish it#and then they were out and i was like okay. pivot. new plan#and THEN i realized aanya-versary was coming so i was like oh perf for that#and i spent HOURS on this layout i changed the images so many times. the lil timelapse video for making this is 5 fucking minutes long#i can't believe i've spent almost 2 months on this i can't believe it's done#i can't believe i never have to move around these stupid little cutouts ever again#also every time i make aanya a graphic as a surprise i'm like. never again i don't like not being able to get her opinion on things.#and then. i do it again
