My appointment this morning went way differently than I thought it would. My doc didn't seem concerned at all, which made me feel better. She checked my cervix and told me I was 3cm already, which really surprised me. She also said my pelvis felt adequate so that's a good sign.
So feeling a bit better. Now I'm kind of feeling like... We only have a few weeks left to get our shit together.

Came home from my 12 hour shift, went pretty Much right to bed and just cried in my pillow. I'm just so upset over everything and I'm just so ready to not be pregnant anymore.... but I also freak out because I don't think I'm ready...only 4 weeks to go and I'm getting more and more scared :( But, I also wish I wasn't doing so much all on my own....it's getting so overwhelming...
Modified Bed Rest
today was my first day of bed rest. It felt weird not getting up and going to work. I just kind of sulked around the house all day. the hell am I supposed to do for the next THREE weeks?! Come on baaaaaby

For the past few days I've barely been able to keep anything down. Usually I'll feel nauseous after eating a meal but at least I'd be able to keep it down. This is pretty much as bad as it was in the earlier stages of my pregnancy when I had to take Zofran to be able to eat only this time I don't have any Zofran.

Holy new followers batman
Not sure why but I seem to have acquired a load of followers this week! Hello new people! I am not usually so whiny, it's just this third trimester has me down. OMG seriously.
My mom lives about an hour and a half away and she's coming over on Sunday for the intended purpose of helping us get the nursery together because I am having a fucking baby in the immediate future and our house is a wreck and we have no one else to help us. My bratty little brother is now whining because he just wants to hang out with mom since he "never sees her anymore" and we're selfish for not just having a chill day for him to come over, eat our food and sit around chatting. I am seriously going to scream. Like, my midwife says that I could basically go into labor at any time because of how boisterous my cervix is being and the house is in no way ready for the homebirth or a newborn and husbean still has 2 weeks before his paternity leave (unless I go into labor) and we need so much help but OH we're selfish for taking the help my mom has offered instead of hosting a relaxing cookout for everyone on one of the last weekends before the baby is here. This shit is why I can't handle life right now.
