Lack of posting due to life happening
It’s been so hard to sit down and write about everything that has been happening in my life lately... I haven’t had a chance to stop and take a breath, let alone write a post and get my image/photograph flow on point! So here is a quick run down....
- WORK! I finished up at my job at Mimco in the first week of May, sad but I felt it was the right time. It’s so hard to bend over when pregnant and so I just felt like a proper problem asking all the girls to run around and get things for me! I was lucky enough to be given Maternity Leave & pay - which is pretty fantastic! So I’ve taken a year leave to be a stay at home mum with bubba and then I’ll return to my management position in May ‘16.
- BABY LIND BABY SHOWER! See post below...
- BUMP PHOTOGRAPHS! I was thinking about it the other day and saying to my gf how lucky I have been in life to be surrounded by amazingly talented and generous people! I should say creativly talented as well! I was lucky enough to have two gfs take photographs of me in little-to-no clothing @ 32 and 36 wks, and they will be something I keep forever! I’ve obviously posted some below from 32 wks.. but the 36wks are yet to come!
- HOME RENOVATING! Oh god don’t get me started! This has been going on for the last 3 months and honestly it’s been the hardest AND most rewarding thing I think Simon and I have ever done! I’ll go more into detail on reno’s in my next post, because I want to share some cool photo’s of fun spaces in our home.

Things I love about being pregnant
- my phone can rest on my belly; along with hot Milo - I’m more comfortable in my underwear - hot showers are heavenly - walks with my pup along the Brisbane River - I get to feel a little darling wiggle, hiccup and stretch around inside me - I get to be a stay at home mum - soon my partner & I will be parents
