Memorial Day: 369th Regiment During World War I
Memorial Day: 369th Regiment During World War I
Today is the day we honor those from the military that fought and died. A few months ago, I wrote a blog post about poet Rita Dove. We tend to miss a lot of signs that are always there, which imply us it’s not meant to be.
Somehow we always interpret it in our own way. Simply because it’s what we hope it would be. We want to see what we want to see.
And it hurts when we come to realization, that the truth has always been different from our fantasy.
There is always a gap. To understand and be understood completely, the mutual understanding, is somehow always hard to achieve, despite distance, despite time, despite persons.
Journey through Life is a constant realization of mismatches, until you finally reach the end where you find the right one learning from all mistakes and misunderstanding.
Pray that we are all lucky enough to find who match after all mismatches.
Pray that we never give up on true love despite all wrong relationships that we try supposing it would be the real.
It’s tough. For some, it’s even tougher... Loneliness inducement, social pressure or mental preconception and so on, we have so many things leading us to all different directions. To know the right thing among so many options is difficult.
Pray that we are intuitive enough to realize the right thing and take actions.
We are gonna be fine.
We will find what belong to us.
Then we find Home :)
