So today we did #20point2 from #crossfitopen First of all great atmosphere today tnx to surprise appearance by dj @mariefeyaerts & dj @jornhillewaere Lots of food and coffee, and soooo much support from everyone for this wod. I thought by myself, anything +10 rounds is a plus for me and i ended up doing 16rounds and 2 thrusters. Pretty happy with that. Today showed that there’s no shame in scaling. No shame in being honest with your own potential and abilities. This isn’t about hurting yourself, this is about pushing yourself. Huge difference. Maybe you do more rounds aka more work with a lighter weight. So which one is better? Tnx to everyone involved at @crossfitsuper7 , @gabor.horanyi for arranging everything, @mandyvink for the cakes, @snowyduerre for the cake, @swakke for the pancakes, @adrenayline_1 for the coffee. Today was 20.2… a slow long grinder. 20 minutes with three movements – 4 dumbbell thrusters, 6 toes to bars, and 24 double unders. The score sheet thought 30 rounds was do-able. Solcana’s scaled version was a little heavier than the official so I ended up using 25# dumbbells, did hanging knee raises, and single unders. hello i did 20.2 this morning:
20 min AMRAP
4 dumbbell thrusters @ 22.5/15 kg x2
6 toes to bar
24 double unders
not heaps to say about this one. my strategy was to stay calm and steady the whole way and i think i did. thrusters are not my favourite or best movement, and doing them with dumbbells just adds another layer of difficulty. still, that’s only the second time ever i’ve done them with the 15s so i’ll take that as a little win (they’re going to be a little harder for me since i’m small: 30 kg is over 50% of my bodyweight). stayed unbroken on the thrusters, did the t2b in two sets of 3 the whole way (except for my last set hehe did them UB), stayed pretty UB on the double unders (i think i tripped in two rounds?). made 17 rounds + 10, or 588 reps. not amazing but good enough for me!
also i love this sports bra a lot it makes me look JACKED. i really like this style but i had to get rid of my others because my lats were too big but i bought a size bigger and it fits perfectly!!! the colour’s really nice too but you can’t tell in the webcam. anyway just know that i am wearing Ultimate Outfit no. 1.
