I found this on Facebook a while back and decided to share this here. I grew up with the original ThunderCats and I loved it. The 2011 remake they put out was fantastic and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. Yes it's a style change, but it had a captivating linear story that shone new light on old, familiar characters that we knew and loved. I don't see how anyone could dislike it.

i thought the art director for thundercats 2011 flipped out because people were harassing him over the show not “being like the 80s” enough and the final straw that broke the camels back was being insulted over pumyra not looking “pretty/feminine” enough, not because of tygra. but yeah 2011 was ehh, not the best but not the worst.
I never heard of that. I remember him snapping at someone on his deviantart page when they criticized him about Tygra. The 2011 show is a mixed bag. It has some really good character design but the writing isn’t quite as smart as it wants to be.
