Its design really leans into it being a biological terminator, and it shows when you get to see this behemoth sprint after Jill specifically. The coat is a nice here as whe in-universe it serves as a limiter to the creature's mutations it being predominantly dark draws attention to the topmost portion: specifically, the tentacle from the parasite controlling it snaking underneath its skin and, more importantly, its nasty looking face."
