Eddie on table tops at school and someone asks him if he has beef with Steve in particular but he's like nah hes okay and Steve waves or blows him a kiss and says "love you too munson!"

steve gets stuck in the upside down either instead of will or just separately then is left there. he is stuck there for a long time. he cant stay in one place for too long but enjoys being at the highschool so he doesnt feel so alone. he overhears peoples conversations and when people talk about him he doesnt feel forgotten. he wants to be friends with robin and really likes eddie. its on ao3.

Eddie and Nancy were talking about her dating Steve in the past, and basically Nancy just flippantly said she was only with him because Jonathan hadn't made a move and dating him had "benefits". Basically said she used him for a year, she was pretty mean and didn't see anything wrong with it. The part i remember the most was Eddie seeing Steve later so he just runs over and hugs him and he can feel fast it makes Steve's heart beat.

there was a fic in progress on tumblr, last I saw it was hurt with possible comfort in the future but no comfort yet, and in it Eddie says the thing about Steve that he promised Steve he would never do, after Steve confessed how awful it made him feel "you'll have to excuse Stevie here" because why does his existence have to be apologized for. but also Steve did a bad job talking to Eddie's friends because (I think) of undiagnosed brain damage.... so they break up

On ao3. Steve gives Eddie random presents,because giving is how he shows his love, but Eddie gets it in his head nothing is for free and he starts "paying Steve back" in intimate ways. Steve thinks Eddie is dating him and is horrified when he realizes whats going on.

tw for ED. it was not the main focus of the fic but it does have to do with his self worth issues throughout it: Steve's mom is the primary cause of him having an ED (he isn't aware it IS one) she even insists he stay within a certain weight range and its the only time he feels like she cares about him. his relationship with food is discussed in small parts throughout ( i know it's brought up about not over indulging when he does sports then later he doesn't have ice cream at scoops). i don't think anyone notices until Eddie post season four. it's on ao3
