working on my bot with a baby au fic (yes i'm actually writing it) has made me think about starop trying to raise a baby (human baby or sparkling, that's up to you)
optimus would be a good parent, but he definitely worries about being too emotionally distant because of his own issues. he tries his best to be involved, but he worries that he's not good enough.
meanwhile starscream is freaking out because 1.) he has no idea what he's doing and 2.) he doesn't want to repeat the cycle that megatron started
