WHY is it considered “so boring” or bad to have “common ‘types”?
I see posts, or general conversations, of people shaming others for having “common theriotypes”, as if it’s somehow a negative thing or people with less common ones are somehow “superior” and it PISSES ME OFF
Like… we DO remember we don’t control our ‘types, RIGHT?? (aside from ‘links, y’all are just as valid n I love youuu mwah ^_^)
It’s just frustrating to see. We’re all supposed to embrace each other.
SO WHAT if somebody is connected to a creature that human society has been influenced by or has influenced for centuries? So what if the most common ‘types are creatures that can easily imprint on us from a young age or birth?
And if you subscribe to alterhumanity as a spiritual thing: wouldn’t it make sense that the animals most commonly experienced by human society are the ones that end up as alterhumans so often?
It is easier to connect with fellow mammals that have understandable behaviors, social hierarchies, and can echo the sentiments of the human societies we are raised in. I don’t know what is so hard to understand about this.
I love everybody with rare ‘types as well as everybody with common ‘types, and any in between! We need to be kinder to each other and PLEASE for the love of paw stop acting like certain folks are better and put down others who have no control over how “rare” their ‘types are.
Let’s be decent, y’all. Love yew mwah
