It feels like the more involved I have to get in human life, the harder it is to connect to my theriotype. It’s hard to find time to REALLY shift when you’re working for a whole week straight or can never find privacy. I crave to run free in the woods or a field instead of this backyard.
Part of me worries that maybe being a therian was a momentary thing, yet I still know I’m a wolf deep-down: I still wag, I still turn my head like a dog, I still “feel” my fangs, and I still identify with the community. I guess it just sorta comes and goes in waves with how strong it is. It’s hard to be a wolf when you have to face customers and have good speaking skills 😓
Normalize doing vocals at church during worship. Not being disruptive or anything. My church just shouts praises to God or just shouts for the joy of the Lord. When that happens, I roar for the Lord. He has gifted me an animal spirit and I will use it to worship God 💖✨️

it goes without saying, but please listen to your body and feed it what it needs. these snacks are only supplementary**!
What's yours ironic thing about being alterhuman???? Mine is being a wolf therian and being scared of dogs

Anyone else ever looks for a picture of your kintype through pictures and just finds that one picture and goes "Oh thats so me. Ahhh that scratches an itch on my soul"?
random thought, hear me out- so yk how gender identity and gender expression are separate things? Does anyone else feel like their species presentation doesn't always match up with their identity?
For example, I'm not a domestic animal at all; I'm a hyena, squirrel, and gryphon. However, I have a lot of dog-like behaviors. I like being pet, I like playing the way dogs play, I like the idea of being a service animal who can help people. It's reached a point that I started to question a dog theriotype, but that never felt quite right- and yet, it still feels more intrinsic than just an occasional cameo shift.
I think the experience of being an animal but growing up human "domesticated" me, and as a result, I developed the behaviors of a familiar domestic animal. Has anyone else experienced this?
