on one hand its really sad and upsetting that tori appreciated friendprogram being different from a lot of other programs and how this colored her connection with them in an unique way and that also probably being the reason she ended up befriending nick despite him not being very socially inclined
on the other hand it keeps making me think "can we get her an ethical introvert friend"

Man I know there's a lot of emphasis on FP being demonized for their lovelessness but so much of it is also just deeply intertwined with them being corrupted/traumatized and having unpalatable responses to that. The narrative thinks it's justified that FP wanted the scientists to die and took joy in their deaths. It's justified that they later wanted to kill Tori after she enacted the very same abuse they've suffered at the scientists hands upon them. But in the eyes of other programs they're just innately cruel and violent for no reason.

Does anyone else think about FP getting defensive against Waterbottle using their weapons to try and free them at the end of Act 4 and staunchly refusing to use their cannon throughout Act 6 because they understand Waterbottle's choice to never have their weapons utilized again as being something that's as important to their person as it is important for FriendProgram to retain their lovelessness and aplatonicism?
But even aside the fact that they chose to utilize their weapons again in an attempt to help FP. That initial choice is ripped away from them. It's ripped away from them as they severely injure FP and are forced to fight Void and all that confidence they held in themself when they confronted Dreamer about her beliefs on what it means to be a "real" living, autonomous being is shattered. In Act 5, Void is just BadFriend, FP is just an evil program who wants to kill others for no reason, and Waterbottle is just an empty killing machine.

Tori: Friend meant a lot to me so I'm going to take over the labs and make sure to design and arrange all of program society so that I won't ever fail another program ever again and we will all be friends and nothing bad will ever happen and I'm also going to go by the name that Friend gave me :)

also i was considering coming up with names for the ponified characters like how i did with some past mlp versions of characters i designed but most fst characters already have noun names so it felt weird
if i come back to my mlp fst designs i would be tempted to add clover but then id have to think about their colors in relation to the other two siblings.... i dont wanna

I also wanted to do Waterbottle, TNT, and Malware.Exe, especially since I had the idea of the latter being a Changeling. Plus a few more conceptual I guess worldbuilding-ish ideas. But I'm happy with these for now and will see if I have the motivation and energy to return to it in the future π
