I feel like she just would've gotten in more trouble for randomly attacking and visibly injuring someone and letting them get away as a witness.
Which is especially upsetting considering their encounter has a couple lines where they express worry over him being angry with them. Like their primary reason for attacking FP seems to be just lashing out but it sure also feels like they're desperately trying to get (back?) on his good side. You know, to the point that they'd try to lure in someone by reactivating the very trap that got Soul killed and that cost Vents their flowers.

speaking of fst sountrack i dont remember where else "melancholic ending" is used but i do remember it being used during enemys conversation with fp at the end of act 3 and her memory with tori in act 7 so thats just her theme to me now
