real ones remember when i was really into tmvtm and coped with pal being killed off by indulging in post movie au scenarios where she gets some kinda closure with mark. and by real ones i mean maybe one person who may or may not still follow me idk

i genuinely cannot remember if i said this here before so forgive me if i repeat myself but the death machine is such an awesome set piece in the friendship labs. u go through the friendship and love and kindess based society and it has some weird tests where youre either like what does this actually have to do with friendship or where psychological cruelty is brought upon you because youre supposed to stay kind against that. and then at the end of the tests its like oh btw there is a Death Machine that was shut down a long time ago. It Kills People. and youre like okay some of these tests have been silly or cruel but why the fuck is there a giant machine that kills people here in the first place. and the answer is that tori and nick have never had a single day of healthy grieving in their lives

thinking about void comparing their relationship with nick to fp when they try to convince them to leave ("i cant just leave when things get difficult, i cant repeat what i did to you!") and nick comparing his relationship with void to the scientists when void cuts him off ("i didnt get to say this to them, so id like to say it to you. i will miss you") 👍👍👍👍👍👍 ow

me when i remember that sparks loved the scientists and indirectly contributed to tori attacking them which is implied to have been extremely traumatizing to him

im ngl im still fucked up about pal tmvtm i thought drawing her with malware.exe would get it out of my system

Differenciating between AI and robot characters is funny cause it's like. Okay to me PAL tmvtm is defenetly an ai character but not a robot. the programs in friendship test are primarily robots but they're also ai for sure. the robots from robots 2005 are robots and i guess technically theyre also ai characters but it just feels wrong to call them that yknow.

I'm eventually gonna rewatch Obsolete Friends to get a better grasp on the game after having fully watched it once but god the line about how the characters dont deserve their awful fate just because theyre not perfect friends and did things wrong really just immediately made me think of Void
