Some Precision Dice by Gamescience purchased uninked from Lou in person at a game convention. These dice are known for their sharp edges, not having been tumbled as part of an inking and cleaning process. His designs improved the randomness and durability of polyhedral dice at a time when some other brands were visibly irregular or disintegrated quickly.
Some of Lou's dice inventions, the D3, D5, D14, D16, and D24, which came with a sheet of suggested uses and which now are used in games like Dungeon Crawl Classics.

The D3 (Drekkana) is the chart of "Parakrama" (Courage/Initiative) and Siblings. But fundamentally, it is the chart of EQUALS.
Your parents (D12) are above you. Your children (D7) are below you. But your siblings and your spouse act as your Peers.
D1: Shows the Spouse as an entity.
D9: Shows the Spouse as a Soul/Dharma partner.
D3: Shows the Spouse as a Teammate as well as their nature/behavior
1. The Core Question of D3: "Is my spouse my ally?"
In the battlefield of life, you need someone to hold the shield while you hold the sword. The D3 reveals if your spouse fights with you or against you. It reveals the nature of the camaraderie.
Behavior of spouse: Pay close attention to the planetary quality. For instance, if your DK is in Libra but in the D3 chart it lands in a fiery house like the 3rd House of Aries or is conjunct Mars, the nature of the spouse shifts from the diplomatic "Libra" facade to an argumentative, fiery, and fast energy. In the 3rd house specifically, this will manifest in their speech, they will be blunt, quick-witted, and perhaps prone to "fighting" with their words to get things done.
2. Darakaraka in D3 Houses
When the Darakaraka (DK) sits in the First House of the D3, your spouse isn't just a cheerleader; they are the engine. They personify your initiative. Prediction: Youâll notice they start jumping into your projects before you even ask for help. They might even start dresssing like you or using your favorite phrases because you operate as a single unit. Your siblings won't even see them as an "in-law", they'll treat them like a long-lost twin who has finally come home.
If the DK is in the Second House, the partnership is all about the "Family Treasury." Your spouse acts as a cognitive auditor for your resources and your words. Prediction: Theyâre going to be the one checking the receipts and making sure your "overconfidence" doesn't lead to a bad investment. They will literally "audit" your speech, reminding you to stay grounded so the family doesn't suffer from a "Sunk Cost Fallacy." They bring a serious fiduciary vibe to the marriage.
In the Third House, the hierarchy just vanishes. This is pure friendship, like two kids playing in a sandbox. Prediction: Your communication will be telepathic, one look across the room and you both know exactly what the other is thinking. Don't be surprised if your spouse becomes closer to your siblings than you are; theyâll be the one organizing the sibling group chats and weekend trips while youâre still trying to find your shoes.
Moving to the Fourth House, your spouse becomes the guardian of your "Inner Fort." They ensure your emotional foundation is unshakeable. Prediction: They will be obsessed with domestic governance. Theyâll detect your stress levels before you even realize youâre tired and will quietly create a sanctuary where you can retreat. They are the silent anchor who keeps your ego from drifting when the M&A activity at work gets too intense.
With the DK in the Fifth House, the spouse is the auditor of your creativity and your legacy. They bond with you over the "offspring" of your mind. Prediction: They will be the ultimate filter for your high-risk gambles. Before you launch a new business or a wild project, theyâll put it through a "stress test." They want to make sure your legacy isn't built on vanity, but on sensible, audited risks.
The Sixth House spouse is your wartime consigliere. They thrive when thereâs a problem to solve or a "common enemy" to defeat. Prediction: Youâll find you bond most when youâre fixing a leaky pipe together or fighting a legal battle. If life gets too peaceful, they might get a bit nitpicky, so keep a shared project going. They are the ultimate risk managers for your daily life, catching small errors before they turn into catastrophes.
In the Seventh House, the spouse acts as your direct mirror and motivator. They stimulate your desires to keep you moving forward. Prediction: They use their attention as a reward. Youâll find yourself working harder and aiming for more "status" just to impress them. The relationship becomes the primary tool that keeps you from getting lazy or overconfident in your leadership.
When the DK enters the Eighth House, youâve got a "Secret Ally." They handle the deep, hidden stuff, the taxes, the traumas, and the secrets. Prediction: They will support you in your darkest, most private moments when the rest of the world thinks youâve failed. But watch outâif the planet is afflicted, theyâll know exactly where your "courage" is brittle and might call you out on it. They likely keep a hidden "emergency fund" that you don't even know about.
In the Ninth House, the spouse is your "Philosophical Compass." They check your long-term vision against a higher truth. Prediction: They will call you out if your ego starts turning into a "God Complex." Theyâll remind you of your moral obligations and make sure your "overconfidence" doesn't ruin the familyâs reputation. They are the guru who keeps your soulâs governance on the right track.
The Tenth House spouse is your professional consultant. They are deeply invested in how the world sees you. Prediction: Theyâll be the one fixing your tie or your hair before you go on stage. They manage the risks of your public-facing decisions, ensuring your career moves are driven by logic rather than a hunger for status. They are obsessed with the "Power Couple" image.
In the Eleventh House, the spouse is your "Networking Prize." They audit your social circle to make sure youâre hanging out with the right people. Prediction: They will bring powerful benefactors into your life. Your elder siblings will likely think you "married up" and will treat the spouse like a trophy. They are the ultimate cheerleader who genuinely wants to see you reach the top of the mountain.
In the Twelfth House, your spouse is the manager of the "Hidden Costs." They handle the realm of the subconscious and the spiritual. Prediction: They will guide you through your losses and your "escapes", like meditation retreats or foreign travels. They provide an invisible check on your internal governance, catching your self-sabotaging thoughts before they ever manifest in the physical world.
3. The "Nature" of the Spouse (Drekkana Type)
In Vedic Astrology, the 36 Drekkanas are like 36 distinct characters. Each 10-degree section has a specific visual symbol (described in ancient texts like Brihat Jataka), which reveals the "DNA" of your spouse's nature in the D3 chart.
The D3 analysis allows us to categorize the spouse's tactical approach to problem-solving. Human Drekkanas indicate a spouse who uses intellect and dialogue to talk their way out of trouble. Sarpa (Serpent) Drekkanas suggest strategy, silence, and sudden strikesâa partner you plot with, rather than talk to. Chatushpada (Quadruped) Drekkanas indicate endurance and labor, where problems are solved by simply outworking them. Finally, Ayudha (Armed) Drekkanas imply force or aggression as the primary tool. Ultimately, a strong DK in the D3 ensures that marriage increases your baseline of confidence, while a weak placement suggests a partner who may inadvertently drain your initiative.

hi this is hardcore cope but i really do love d2 and think there should be a d3. idk I grew up with this game and have been playing it ever since it came out, and I have spent endless hours just playing it with friends, getting raid titles and flawlesses, and solo flawlessing almost every dungeon in the game (im only missing spire, ghosts, and equilibrium) and i just... the lore is so good and still has places to go, and while i know a lot can be wanted, i also dont think the game should die off. how else am i supposed to have my most hated game be my favorite game if destiny is like actually fr gone. so if anyone wants to sign this too and spread the word that would be really cool :) thanks

Summary: Things take an unexpected turn at the wedding.
Word Count: 2.3k
Warnings: Lots of angst, cliffhanger ending
Authorâs Note: This may seem like a harsh change from part 2, but letâs remember who put these ideas into readerâs head in part 1. Trust the process with this one. DOPAMINE MASTERLIST
It was wedding day and you were giddy. You didnât know Jacksonâs cousin, not really. Youâd met him a few times in passing at events, and formally for the first time the night before. There was just something about weddings that you loved. Your favorite part? The way the couples looked at each other like nobody else existed. You could only dream of being loved like that. You thought youâd found that in Jackson, and despite all your attempts to show him how versatile you could be you were still doubting it.Â
You were the last to enter the living room, having taken a bit of extra time getting ready. You were giving up the act for now - for the sake of the wedding. Maybe at the expense of your relationship. You felt nervous, you werenât really sure why? Perhaps it was because youâd been hiding behind a fake shield all weekend, and now you had to be you. Just you. It wasnât like you hadnât spent hours alone with Jacksonâs mom the night before, shopping, grabbing a quick lunch before the rehearsal dinner. She had claimed the food at those events were never good and you both deserved a good meal.
âSorry for holding everyone up.â You gave a sheepish smile, your hand going to your hair out of nervous habit.Â
âNo, no, weâve got plenty of time.â Jacksonâs mom reassured you as Jackson moved to stand. He held his hand out for you and you took it with ease.
âYou look amazing.â He was struggling to keep his eyes off you.Â
âSo do you.â You grinned, your heart clinching in your chest as he led you out the door.
The ride to the venue was met with comfortable silence, your hands staying firmly in your lap. You wanted nothing more than to tease him a bit, maybe smirk at him, something. But you couldnât bring yourself to do it, not today. Not after spending so much time with his mom. Youâd had a hard relationship with your own mother, but you could see yourself having a tight bond with Jacksonâs mom. Something you hadnât realized youâd been wanting until yesterday.
It was all for nothing if Jackson wasnât happy with you exactly as you were. So youâd pulled away. At the dinner last night youâd stuck to Jacksonâs side, meeting very few people in his family. Not wanting to fall in love with the entire Wang family if this was all going to end soon. Once youâd made it back to the AirBnB that night, youâd excused yourself early to go straight to bed.Â
Jackson had noticed, of course he had. He thought maybe after the pool incident youâd sneak off to his room to finish what you had started earlier. He gave it an hour before he tried your door, frowning when it was locked. He silently made his way back to his room, FaceTiming you in hopes you were still awake.Â
When you didnât answer, heâd put his phone down, trying not to think about what couldâve possibly happened that night to have you pull away from him, and went to sleep. Seeing you out in the living room before youâd left for the wedding had been the first time heâd seen you all day.
He was almost afraid you werenât going to leave that room and heâd have to kick the door in just to see you. Just one more night and then you could go home, back to your real life, he could hold you while you slept, kiss you until you needed air, tell you how much he loved you.Â
The only good thing about the break heâd gotten from you today was all the free time heâd had to plan out the proposal. Heâd talked to his parents in hushed voices at breakfast that morning, his mom thrilled, his dad pleased. You fit right on in with his family, which confused him even more on why youâd pulled away.
âYou ok?â Your voice broke Jacksonâs thoughts and he nodded, smiling down at you before sliding out of the car.
âNever better.â He promised as he held an arm out for you. You took it with a snort.
âSo Cheesy.â He beamed, leaned down and kissed your cheek.
âOnly for you.â He whispered in your ear.
You shook your head, wondering what had gotten him to today. The weekend so far had been spent with him trying to keep his distance, now it was your turn. As you entered the church, you unhooked your arm with his and he frowned, his hand moving to the small of your back as he led you to your seats. You sat down between Jackson and his mom, thankful she was there to keep Jacksonâs hands to himself.Â
This was going to be a long day, you just hadnât realized how long it was going to be when youâd made this descision. Jackson kept looking at you out of the corner of his eye, to the outside world you looked fine. Not a care in the world - but he knew you better. You were fighting some kind of battle and he was determined to figure out what it was. You caught his stare a couple times, raising a brow at him. He gave a small smirk, turning his attention back to the wedding taking place in front of him.
The wedding was gorgeous, vibrant colors filling the church, the colors picked accented the island you were on perfectly. The couple somehow managed to look more in love today than the day before. It was exactly everything youâd expected. You just hadnât expected the lump in your throat when they said I Do, or the stray tear that had fallen. You tried to wipe it away without anyone noticing. Jackson saw it though, heâd been watching you the entire ceremony.Â
He tried to talk to you in the car on the way to the reception but youâd brushed it off. You just loved love so much, it was hard not to get emotional. Jackson tried to believe you, tried to buy that you were fine but something had changed after the pool yesterday and he needed to know what. He helped you out of the car, leading you to the space for the reception.Â
It was a beautiful outdoor space, the ocean breeze cooling off whatever heat had been in the air that day. You found your table nestled between trees, offering up shade and shuttered. The winter air was already a tad cooler than normal and the shade mixed in was doing you no favors. Jackson wasted no time, shrugging off his jacket and laying it on your shoulders carefully.Â
You couldnât help but smile at him as you snuggled in closer, wrapping the jacket tighter around you. It smelled of his cologne and you allowed yourself a minute to feel comforted by it. When Jackson was on tour youâd live in his hoodies, spraying bits of his cologne on his pillow at night so it was like he was still there with you. For some reason, this small gesture was reminding you of that - even if he was right next to you.
Dinner seemed to drag on, agonizingly slow and all Jackson wanted to do was whisk you out onto that dance floor so heâd have an excuse to hold you. Maybe then he could find out what was going on in that head of yours. If you wouldnât tell him on the dance floor heâd found at least 10 different places to hide out at, excluding the beach.Â
âDance with me?â He stood, an arm out for you.Â
You hesitated for a few seconds before accepting his hand. He didnât push it, not right away. Not when your favorite song was on and you were allowing him to hold you. His chin rested on top of your head, eyes closed as you both basked in the warmth of each other. Maybe this was enough of him, maybe youâd go home and tell him what youâd overheard and youâd both laugh about it.
âAre you sure youâre okay? Youâve been really quiet.â You snuggled in closer to him, not wanting to ruin the moment.Â
âIâm fine.â You lied, your face hidden from view.Â
Jackson wasnât buying it. He took a quick sweep of the room before letting go of you, his hand finding yours and quietly ushered you to the corner heâd spotted earlier. Your back pressed against the wall of the building, a tent curtain shielding you both. Jackson had one hand resting on the wall, the other moved to cup your cheek. Neither of you said anything as his eyes searched your face.Â
âDid something happen yesterday with my mom? Or at dinner? Did someone say something to you?âÂ
âWhat?â Your eyes crinkled in confusion and you shook your head. âNo, Jackson. Your family is lovely. Especially your mom. I told you Iâm fine.âÂ
âYou donât seem fine.âÂ
âWhy? Because Iâm not trying to get you off today?â You snapped. Jacksonâs eyes widened, his mouth parted. For once he wasnât sure what to say.Â
âNo?â He finally answered after what felt like an embarrassingly long time. âThatâs not what I was getting at.â His hand fell from your face. âBut now that you mention it, you have been acting different all weekend.âÂ
âIâve been trying to give you what you want.â You folded your arms against yourself, which was a bit of a struggle considering how close Jackson was.Â
âWhat are you talking about?âÂ
âI heard you talking to Jae the other day, and I can't be who you want. I thought I could be that girl who doesnât give a fuck and shows way too much inappropriate affection, leaves you on the edge wanting more. But Iâm just not that girl. I tried, I really did. After hanging out with your mom yesterday I realized how much I love your family, how much I want this to be my family. I just donât want it like this.â You could feel the tears pooling in your eyes and you fought to keep them down. âI thought you were happy with me, but when I heard you talking the other day I realized you werenât and I thought if I tried this, youâd want to stay with me. But if you donât love me as I am..I canât keep doing this.âÂ
A single tear fell down your cheek and you moved to brush it away. Jackson stared at you horrified, he hadnât realized youâd heard that conversation with Jae. That had just been guy talk, he didnât mean anything by what he said. Everything was starting to add up though, the clothes, the video, the shower. How could you think heâd want you any other way than exactly who you were? You were perfect exactly as you were. He reached to touch your face again and you shook your head, shoving past him to head to the bathroom.Â
You just needed a minute to collect yourself, you werenât going to make a scene at a wedding, especially one as lovely as this. You half expected Jackson to be gone when you came back out, but he was still standing there with an unreadable expression on his face. You blinked, your eyes moving from him to the crowd of guests. Before you could make your next move he was standing in front of you.Â
âI need to go.â He wanted to reach out and touch you, tell you how wrong you were. But he knew better.Â
âCan we talk? Please.â He hated how desperate he sounded, but he was. The thought of losing you over some misunderstanding? He'd never forgive himself for hurting you.
âNot here. And youâre not leaving early.â Youâd made up your mind, you were leaving. âTell your family I wasnât feeling well and Iâm sorry for leaving early.âÂ
You didnât give him a chance to respond as you headed for the exit. A car was waiting outside and you thanked your lucky stars that you didnât have to call a cab. You didnât want to be at the Airbnb anymore, and you knew leaving would ruin whatever chances you still had but youâd meant what you said. If you werenât enough as you were before the trip, then you didnât want this anymore. It didnât matter how much you loved him, how much your heart ached as you zipped up your suitcase. You both deserved exactly what you wanted and you were done pretending. You told yourself this was the right decision as you boarded the plane leaving was the only option.Â
It took Jackson exactly five minutes before he realized he couldnât sit here and have you think that he didnât love you for exactly who you were. His parents had caught onto the tension and understood him leaving. What he wasnât expecting was for you to be gone when he got to the house. He knew exactly where you were going though and if that meant chasing you by plane, heâd do it.Â
It was a long lonely flight back to Seoul, Jackson spent the entirety of the flight forming an apology. One he hoped to give you so long as you had actually come back home. He hadnât thought of the possibility that you wouldâve gone somewhere else until he was standing outside the door of the apartment.Â
He opened the door quietly, a sigh of relief escaping his lips when he saw you standing in the living room. You jumped when the door opened, turning to face him. A stack of clothes in your hand.Â
âHi.â It was all you could manage to get out.Â
âHi.â His voice heavy with exhaustion, his eyes falling from your face to the items in your hand and the look on his face shattered you. âCan we talk?â
