After thinking about the fact that the guitar riff in "Brave Heart" is the sound that digivices make in the Japanese version of Digimon Adventure, I decided to have a look between it and the way they sound in the English dub
In the dub, the digivices make a whistling noise when a digimon starts evolving.
Although most likely not intentional, I feel like the whistles in the dub can be like a call for help! The whistles would be like the children indirectly calling out "I'm in danger! Please help!" And the digimon are hearing it as they're in the process of answering the call for help!
And in turn, the guitar riff in the original actually feels like the OPPOSITE of that! Where instead of being a call for help by the kids, it would be a reply from the digimon!
It would be like the digimon calling "Don't worry! I'm coming to help!" And not just calling out! ROARING out! And the music afterwards is sort of like them coming over as fast as they can and stronger than before to protect them!
And putting them back to back feels like they're calling out to eachother somewhat!
