Rock Apparently Factors Into Girlfriendās Shower Routine
SEATTLEāSaying he was confused about the full extent of its purpose as well as its overall benefit, local man Jacob Ferris, 25, nonetheless surmised today that the oblong rock located in girlfriend Sarah Milsteinās shower caddy must somehow factor into her bathing routine, sources confirmed.
āI guess at some point while sheās showering, she rubs a rock on her body,ā said Ferris, expressing what he claimed was āthe only possible conclusionā about the light-gray rock in his girlfriendās bathroom. āI mean, it looks sort of nice, so she could just have it there for decoration or something. But itās usually right near all the other soaps and her loofah, so I think itās probably something she actually uses while under the water.ā
āI really donāt know how it all works,ā Ferris added. āAll I know is that in between Sarah getting into the shower and getting out, thereās a rock involved.ā
Ferris, who said he was unable to determine exactly when in the showering process the rock first comes into play, told reporters he is equally clueless about what part of the body the rock is used on.
In addition, Ferris said he occasionally inspects the roughly 3-ounce object when heās in Milsteinās shower, and told reporters that the rock is nearly always wet and is occasionally moved to slightly different spots within the bathtub, leading him to believe that his girlfriend uses it fairly regularly. He also noted his girlfriendās bathing time never seems particularly longer than the average personās considering she has added a rock into the mix.
Ferris added that all attempts to incorporate the rock into his own shower routine have ultimately been unsuccessful.
āI tried rubbing it on my skin once, and it hurt,ā Ferris said, concluding that pouring soap and water directly onto the rock neither made it softer nor easier on his skin. āI could maybe see how it could get some dirt off of your body, but it seems too painful to work. Her skin usually looks nice though, so maybe Iām wrong.ā
āThere is a chance it could be a hair thing,ā Ferris continued. āMaybe she rubs the rock in her hair? I donāt know.ā
Ferris confirmed he has considered numerous reasons for why his girlfriend uses the rock in the shower, including that she has some type of skin condition, that the rock is some sort of weird tradition her family has, or that everyone uses rocks in the shower and he has been out of the loop the entire time.
āIt could be for cleaning the bathtub,ā said Ferris, adding he once suspected the rock was a device for making the bathroom smell nice, but then noticed it had no discernible smell whatsoever. āLike every few weekends she scrubs the tub with this rock? I guess I could see Sarah doing that.ā
While Ferris said he is mostly certain that the rock was initially purchased at a home goods store of some kind, he was not able to completely rule out the possibility it was just a rock that his girlfriend found on the ground and decided to put in her shower.
āI wonder if I should put a rock in my shower for when sheās over here,ā said Ferris, who said he once tried to locate a rock at a Bed Bath & Beyond, but left after not wanting to walk up to a sales clerk and ask them where they kept their āshower rocks.ā āOr I could just tell her to leave a rock at my place if she wants.ā
āIām probably not going to do that,ā Ferris added.
At press time, a visibly perplexed Ferris had seen the rock sitting in Milsteinās trashcan and then looked in the shower to see another rock sitting in its place.

If youāve been wondering why Iāve been so inactive for a while:
Bigger Math exam on Monday, presentation in Socio-Economics and smaller exam in Biology on Tuesday, smaller exam in Religion on Wednesday, smaller exam in Spanish on Thursday, seminar presentation on Friday and another bigger exam in Health Science on Saturday bc I missed the actual exam for that oneā¦. Yeah, I am definitely going to die sometime next week.
This has literally been my College life since some time in November - and I totally canāt handle it anymore.
I will be holding the degree in my hands after May, but Iāll have suffered from burnout by then already anyway. It was nice to have known y'all.
I went through my blog out of boredom and bc I can't sleep at 2am.
I gotta say: I wrote this post sometime end of January or beginning February 2019, and I was definitely right about the burnout part and the part about dying (and I also completely fucking ruined my immune system from the stress over a loooooong time without ever feeling like I am getting rewarded for doing so), but I was also definitely wrong about the degree part in May lmao aaaayyyyyy, gotta get that degree as a non-student now lol
I literally just want to go back in time to scream at myself to take care of my health.
Because apart from time, that is also something I will never get back now.
So in these times now, with already so many deaths worldwide because of this virus, I just want to tell you all that you should really, really take care of your health. Physically, as well as mentally.
Because once it's taken from you, it won't ever return to its former state.

Hi! I was wondering what app you use to make fake insta profiles? Like the ones that show uploaded pictures? I have to do a project and it would help a lot
I use social dummy but itās only for iPhone. If you have an Android then I donāt know if there are similar apps but you can also do an instagram account and post the things you need and then with PicsArt app you can photoshop the likes and comments and things like that
For Android, Funsta - Fake Chat works pretty well. You can do fake post with replies + likes and time stamps, you can fake insta stories, fake dms by adding "contacts", etc.
In the beginning you'd need to get a bit familiar with it at first because it can be a little confusing, but it works sooo well once you've figured it out.
Have fun, anon! :) (the other ones in the screenshot are good apps for Android as well!) Well, that is, as long as you don't have an iPhone, otherwise ignore this and just use social dummy š
Funsta will look like this: (those are mine)
It's pretty good

OH MY GOD HOW COULD I FORGET ZE:A AGSKQGWHSIAGDJWKQBS
Thanks for telling me though ššāāļø
DO NOT DO THIS.
This makes me so angry.
If you work in a movie theater and you do this I have no respect for you.
My younger brother is Type 1 Diabetic.
When we go to a movie theater, we always get him diet soda. If he were to get regular when we asked for diet, we would not give him the insulin he would need for it. If that happens, his blood sugar level could go so high he could go into a coma, go blind, or even die.
If somebody gave him regular soda instead of diet without telling us, that person could be responsible for a nine-year-old being killed or blinded.
Just thinking about that makes me so angry. I get scared every time we take him to a movie in case the people working there saw this picture and decide to do the same thing.
Please signal boost this so people know.
This also applies to baristas
Fun story about the baristas doing this kind of shit.Ā
I am very sensitive to lactose, not Lactose intolerant but because of stomach ulcers that are still healing. A couple years ago I went to Starbucks right after my classes with some friends and asked for a green tea latte with soy milk. The barista, for some reason out of malice and/or hate for her life so she took it out on me, gave me whole milk in my latte.
5 minutes after my first sip of latte, my stomach cramped BAD. Not the āOh! time to poop!ā kind of cramp but it felt like someone had stabbed me with a knife and twisted it. Now Iāve had this happen before so I knew the cause of it. I went up to the barista clutching my gut screaming at her that she put dairy in my latte rather than soy LIKE I REQUESTED. She denied it and called me a āpretentious white girl for wanting soyāand so my friends got the manager. I had to explain that I had stomach ulcers that were still healing and if I were to go to the hospital for this incident, they would be responsible for it.
Manager flipped his shit and the barista was terrified out of her mind. Pretty sure both thought i was gonna sue. Manager actually fired her on the spot because of the negligence. My friends managed to get me home in one piece while I stayed home for 3 days in absolute agony and missed my midterm.
So remember kiddies, if someone is asking for Diet orĀ āSkinnyā orĀ āsoyā or anything that is not regular, give them what they requested because it may not be them being healthy, but a dietary need that can possibly be life or death
also if they ARE trying to be healthy you should give it to them to!! Its not your decision to police or question others food choices!!!Ā
also im lactose intolerant AND ive had stomach infections/ulcers so i feel this.Ā
I have Celiac Disease, so Iām very gluten intolerant. When I go out to eat at restaurants a lot of people just assume that I asked for my food gluten free because of the gluten free diet fad (which is usually a bullshit diet btw).Ā
Last month I went out to dinner with a friend at an italian restaurant that had a small gluten free menu. I had been there once before and had their gluten free pasta and it was great! I think one of the managers had been there and was super helpful when taking my order to make sure that everything was gluten free for me. When I ordered the gluten free pasta again this time though, the waitress who took my order all but rolled her eyes at me. I didnāt think much of it at the time, because the restaurant was so accommodating before, I just assumed it would be the same this time.
But sure enough, they brought out my pasta, I ate it, and about an hour later I had extreme stomach pains and was throwing up (in a movie theater no less).
Barfing and agonizing pain aside, eating gluten when you have celiac causes a lot of internal damage thatās hard to notice. The biggest thing is that it damages your intestines, preventing your body from absorbing nutrients properly, which can take months to heal.
So PLEASE, if you work at a restaurant or anything with food and someone asks for something a certain way, please listen to them and donāt just disregard someoneās order. Itās not funny and it can have serious consequences.
I will reblog this with every single story about someone getting sick because of an asshole giving them the opposite of what they ordered until it sinks in for everyone.
Recently on the news a 16 year old boy with a dairy allergy had gone to eat at IHOP with his family. The specifically asked if they could make dairy free pancakes and they said yes. Not too long after he had a reaction and was rushed to the hospital. This kid died because the was dairy in his pancakes that they asked for no dairy. His epi pen that his mother had wasnāt enough to help him. I know working in fast food or any job thatās serves food and beverage sucks but not as much as causing someone to get sick over negligence.
My youngest cousin ā who is now five, he just started kindergarten ā has Celiacās disease. You would not BELEIVE the amount of times Iāve heard my aunt say sheās ordered something gluten free, only to watch the waiter or waitressās eyes go huge when she gives it to my cousin ā my cousin with the medical id band on his tiny five year old wrist proclaiming I HAVE CELIACS and have to take it back. Shit like this could kill my cousin. Knock it the fuck off.
I cannot tolerate caffeineāit makes me have chest pain and a racing pulse, and also gives me horrible body pain, so I always ask for decaf if I order coffee when Iām out, and doublecheck with the waiter/ress when they bring it. but instead of sayingĀ āis this decaf like I asked for?ā I always sayĀ āoh, did I remember to order decaf?ā I shouldnāt have to act like Iām the forgetful one (because I know damn well I asked for decaf) but it seems to work better than implying that they screwed up when I take the blame on myself like that. and if thereās any hesitation when they answer, I tell them,Ā āif thereās any doubt, please get another one, or just give me waterāif this is regular, itāll mess up my heartā and lots of times when I say that, they look alarmed and go change it or get another one.Ā
but I shouldnāt HAVE to share my personal medical history with strangers just to get my order right! no one should! how is it their business? it makes me really uncomfortable to have to do that. JUST GIVE PEOPLE WHAT THEY ORDER!
Iāve reblogged this maaaany times before but thereās a few new stories on here so iām doing it again.
cut this shit out
donāt be that kind of asshole.
As a diabetic, this would make me so beyond angry. Skinny doesnāt mean they donāt have a life threatening illness. Skinny doesnāt mean they can process sugar the way you do. People that do this are the worst kinds of people. DO NOT DO THIS!
Me and my family went to a restaurant a few years back and one of the dishes we ordered was made with wine vinegar, which I am allergic to, so we asked the waiter to skip it, and he said sure, no problem, thatās fine. So my food gets to the table, and I start eating and then my throat closes and I canāt breathe and then I start coughing and throwing up right there in the middle of the restaurant and it was very fortunate that I was with my family and they knew what was happening to me. I had to be rushed to the hospital, and admitted, and I came damn near close to having my throat cut open so I could breathe through a whole on my neck. Because they put wine vinegar in my food when I explicitly told them not to, because they were assholes, and I could have died. They probably didnāt mean to hurt me but they did. I missed class, and work, and, again, I COULD HAVE DIED.
i have cyclic vomiting syndrome and canāt tolerate dairy or red meat. violating my dietary restrictions triggers an acute episode, and i have to be hospitalized and given iv saline, ativan, and anti-emetics to stop the (extremely painful and incapacitating) vomiting. if somebody put regular milk instead of soy milk in my latte and i didnāt notice the taste immediately, i could wind up in the er and then spend several days in bed recovering, eating nothing but saltines and dry toast and clear liquids until my body was able to tolerate food again, unable to work or go out or do anything besides rest. whenever i go to starbucks, i WATCH them make my drink. cvs episodes are horrible and i hate them, and i can prevent them if i do everything right, but that means my damn barista has to cooperate. if somebody decided i was a stuck up white girl and gave me whole milk instead of soy they could put me in the hospital and cost me days of income. give ppl the food they fuckin order. itās not that hard.
Reblogging because itās so important. Iām āluckyā I donāt have any food allergies or intolerence, but it makes me mad when people take them not seriously, think you are picky or just following a āwhite girl diet fadā.
90% of people donāt take my cats and dog allergies seriously when I tell them Iām allergic and wondering if a cat or a dog is present at X place. They think itās just watery eyes. Nope. Well yeah, watery and itchy eyes, but I start wo wheeze and have trouble breathing. They donāt give epi-pen for those (anyway you have to go to the hospital after) just inhaler. Itās no miracle, specially if I didnāt take other meds before.
When people tell you about their allergies or restriction, trust them!
Reblogging for all the stories here because this is sooo important!Ā
I have a severe allergy to gluten and relate to MANY of the stories above. My daughter has a severe allergy to milk fat, and I have had to hold her hair many times while she vomits on the side of the road because we couldnāt even make it home from theĀ āaccidentalā whole milk instead of skim.Ā
Iām super lactose intolerant so accidental milk is always fun. Severe diarrhea, stomach cramps, bloating, and gas like you wouldnāt believe. Better than death you might say but, I have other medical conditions, so that diarrhea could lead to vomiting(itās so bad the vomit comes out my mouth AND nose) and dehydration that in turn becomes low cortisol and adrenal crisis. A bitchy barista can land me in the hospital with an intramuscular shot and saline iv. Hun, it takes no time to listen and follow my order. It takes me at least 24 hours to get out of the hospital. Be nice.
Iām allergic to pork. Legit allergic. I canāt count how many times Iāve had to ask it off my food only to receive it with bacon or ham or something on it.
Please respect peoples food requests. It costs 0.00$ to not be a dick.
I actually have customers who say theyāll only eat at my restaurant when Iām there, because they know I require all policy to be followed, as inĀ āI will kick you the fuck off your shift if you skimp,ā if someone says the words āI have an allergy.ā I developed our allergy policies, for that matter, because what we had in place before wasĀ āI guess you shouldnāt change your gloves ⦠. ?ā On my shifts your gloves get changed, that line gets wiped down with a new cloth, paper under EVERY ITEM for the person with the allergy, bag their food separately to prevent contact. If thereās a risk of cross-contamination with an allergen, like tomatoes in the guac because stuff spills when youāre moving as fast as we do, Iāll open a new bag of food. I learned the ingredients in every item we serve so I could advise people on hidden allergens (e.g., thereās a small amount of wheat in our beef as a thickener; we fry with safflower oil). We have a grease pencil to mark special builds and I use it liberally on allergy orders. If all of this sounds like overkill, youāve never watched a child suffer from anaphylaxis. I donāt play around.
Like, I bitch about my job a lot, but food allergies and special needs are not something I will ever bitch about. Even if youāre a complete asshole I wonāt risk contaminating your food. (Although people with allergies seem to be way nicer than the general population, I gotta say.) Donāt do it. If someoneās a petty asshole to you, give them too much ice in their drink. Donāt play with their health.
DO NOT FUCKING SCROLL PAST THIS P L E A S E
Reblogging this again because it is important. Doing the right thing has no cost but doing the wrong thing can cost a personās life. Donāt be a dick, give the person what they ordered
As someone with several food allergies of varying degrees of severity, I know the risks I take any time I eat anything I donāt make myself.
I am always very clear and up front with wait staff (no cilantro - I am severely allergic) I ask questions if the menu is vague (are the empanadas made with beef or pork chorizo?) and I scrutinize my food to make sure it is safe to eat, but I still get dairy in my soy chai and actually had a waitress write āextra cilantroā on a kitchen ticket once. I had to send it back with the food runner and he showed me the ticket.
Why do that?! Iām terribly polite because I feel guilty for needing the special order but I do enjoy breathing and would like to continue doing it.
Milk or beef will cause medium distress and I admit that Iāll eat them in small amounts, on occasion, if Iām feeling up to it; apples or lettuce will cause intestinal bleeding so I strictly avoid them; but ingesting even the smallest amount of cilantro will swell my throat, lock my lungs making it almost impossible to breathe and give me aggressive full body hives. I canāt even get to close to it at the store without my heart racing wildly and my lungs tightening like a fist is wrapped around them.
All in all, I do accept the risk associated with eating things I didnāt prepare myself, but I will hold a grudge against any establishment that is staffed by asshats who *deliberately* poison me. I rarely allow a dish I send back to be replaced, never go back to a place that ignored my order and Iāll leave a review everywhere I can.
Please please please do not be the asshat that hurts someone over your assumptions. It may seem petty and amusing to you but it *can* kill.
I am allergic to nothing, but giving me soy will make me sick for days, because it sets off my autoimmune disease for some reason.
Giving me unwarned-for dairy will give me severe GI problems, and the inflammation from that will set off my autoimmune disease. (If I know about the dairy, I can ameliorate this by like 90+% easily, like for example I just ate some cheese but since I fed it to myself I took medication and it shouldnāt cause me any problems. So itās sneak dairy when I ask for something else thatās the problem.)Ā
Just donāt mess with it when people ask for changes. Or be honest about what you can & canāt do (thereās a restaurant near me which is really great about adjusting most things, but thereās like 2 dishes on the menu they canāt alter in a way that makes them safe for me. When I asked, they were totally up-front about it and now I know).
All of this. And let me illustrate.
Iām medium-sensitiveānot allergicāto the solvents used to create decaf and certain artificial sugars (like sweet and low and equal; splenda, not so much, but I still dislike due to classical conditioning from equal experiences).Ā Itās minor: cramping and extended bathroom use for a few hours and basically just annoying.Ā Which makes any diet sodas, decaf sodas, decaf coffee, and decaf black teas not recommended and kind of sucky and at worst, it makes me twitchy and nervous along with cramping and bathroom residence.
(I do get the irony that decaf and artificial sugarsĀ make me twitchy and nervous while caffeine and sugar calm me down. But it makes it easy for me to tell when Iām given the wrong thing, which by the way is almost never.)
Itās the hat trick of lucky sensitivities; none of these are likely to be given to me by accident ever (it happened once; all other experiences were my own damn fault or an unfortunate Lent sacrifice that taught me the value of not making stupid Lent sacrifices but probably made God laugh a lot).Ā I donāt have to ask for anything outside the norm of an order.
Which is whyĀ I pay attention to peopleās allergies and food restrictions.Ā Itās habit now; even with people I know, even with friends, even with family, I double check before making them anything or feeding them anything.Ā Sure, I remember, but why take the risk I forget something minor or I didnāt know about some small thing related to it or just didnāt occur to me because Iām in a rush or I had no idea that item actually had a trace of this?Ā Who on earth wants to be responsible for hurting someoneāor killing someoneājust by ignorance, much less malice?
Not having allergies is a privilege; not worrying about being given the wrong thing and getting sick or dying is a privilege; not having to be aware every second you are in public around food or other allergens about exposure is one fuckĀ of a privilege.
There is no excuse; deliberately or carelessly ignoring their request is no different than dropping arsenic in their food and thinking itās funny.Ā Think Iām being dramatic? Read above and try again; if I had my way, every person who ever deliberately fed or exposed someone to an allergen they were told was a problem would be charged with felony assault and thatās just the minimum.
My husbandās allergic to caffeine and it will put him in the bed with a migraine. He always asks for decaf. We went out for a coffee date and within only a few minutes, he goes āOh no.ā and just looks at his coffee in horror. āShe gave you caffeine.ā Dejected nod. āShe gave me caffeine.ā To which, went and asked for the barista and her manager and explained, āHey thanks for NOT giving us our orders as asked for. He asked for decaf. Because heās allergic to caffeine. Now we have to go home and heāll be sick in the bed with a migraine the rest of the day.ā After a series of babbled apologies and āIām sure it was just a mistakeā, I snapped, āYou are in the food industry. People have allergies. Give them what they order because they ordered it that way for a reason.ā Another time we were on a date and I inquired about one of the appetizers wanting to clarify what kind of sausage was in it because Iām allergic to a type of preservatives, and like my husband, it will put me in the bed with a brain splitting migraine. So, the waitress assured me that it was just regular ground sausage, so we ordered it. It was not. So, we had our meals packed up to go, and warned the waitress to next time not give an answer if she didnāt know the answer, especially when Iād already explained I needed to know because of a food allergy.
Yes itās a long fucking post but youāre gonna read the whole damn thing because this is important.
I work in a cinema as well. And honestly, I never really needed the folder for the food ingredients except for one time.
This little boy (he was like maximum 10 years old) came up to the counter with his mom, his first question being "is [ingredient] in your popcorn?" I was confused for a second and asked him why - he told me he was highly allergic to it and could die. As someone with seafood allergy (of which I also have some asshole waiter stories āŗļø) I know how much it sucks and I told him honestly I didn't know the exact ingredients, so I rushed to find the folder and find the document for the popcorn. I didn't even just read it and tell him it was fine, that the ingredient was not in there, but instead I brought him the paper and let him read it for himself, so that he could assure himself that I wasn't one of those people who had fun messing with other's health like this and so that he had the assurance he'd be fine. And all was fine and the little boy walked away happily munching on his popcorn. The costumers behind him seemed slightly annoyed, but I didn't care about them at all in that moment.
Someone's well-being and safety is more important to me than those 20 seconds you had to wait longer, Karen.
Also, for the same reasons as listed above in earlier posts, I double check whether I heard the costumer say the right order for their drinks (especially if it's multiple ones). I repeat their order before putting the cups below the towers and I say "this is your diet coke and this one the regular one" when handing them, just to triple check.
I know it makes me look like I have the attention span of a goldfish, but I once actually accidentally would've given a regular coke to someone who NEEDED the diet coke if I hadn't done that.
So I'll keep doing it, even if I look stupid to you.
